Personally I play a video game. You should probably be aware that Halloween isn’t Christian. I guess you’re free to appropriate it to your specifications, but fundamentally it’s about a celebration of the day of the dead. Witches also use that day as a particularly advantageous time to cast spells, adults are getting drunk, and children are out begging for candy.
I’m curious how Christians celebrate Halloween. I understand it’s a matter of conscience, but what do you do exactly?
I am glad that you are back. You have been sorely missed.Yes brother, I was on here before with those usernames.

Thank you all for the replies! I really appreciate it. I've been busy with work lately but I am still reading through the thread. Thanks @HealthAndHappiness for the videos.
This has been a long standing topic for me... I used to believe it was 'evil' along with Christmas trees etc. And then, I started to see and believe that this was short sighted and that Christ has a way of redeeming what the devil meant for evil. Yes, the origins of both are pagan, but the origin is not what we celebrate today. The bible does say to avoid the very appearance of evil, and certain costumes and 'tricks' should be avoided, but as a whole, we celebrate kids dressing up to have fun and to get free candy. And pumpkins. None of these children, and nearly no adults, even realize or contemplate the origins. And as such, Christ redeemed an evil thing. Same for the Christmas tree.
