I consider myself blessed to be in a room with a spider. I can't say I know any men who feel the same. If the man kills a spider, I"m gone. That's a deal breaker for me

I must be really out of the loop, because I never knew that women are supposed to be looking for guys with trucks!
More specifically, Ford trucks.
Btw, Dr Mandell on FB reels said to take a glass of warm milk w/tumeric to help sleep. For me, this works amazingly well!
I like Dr Mandell.
I already have turmeric root that I just bought yesterday! It reduces and prevents inflammation. I'm constantly learning new benefits of turmeric. I'll put milk on my grocery list for next time. Thank you!

I had a pet jumping spider that lived around my kitchen window for a year or two. It was very clean and did not web much. It was extremely colorful and inquisitive. It was never scared of me and liked to greet me from the window sill.
The summer before last, I saw what I think was a Regal Jumping Spider on the door of my storage building. She was the most colorful one I've ever seen in my life. I wish I kept it for a pet. It had Many colors, but mostly green and iridescent turquoise. It jumped onto my hand to check me out before it went back to the door.

This summer, I had a jump spider build a web inside around her and her egg sac. Eventually, I seen tiny jump spiders running around inside the web shelter. At some point, they made their exit and there were tiny jumps all over the house. It was marvelous. They have all dispersed and I haven't seen any lately. To me, spiders are fascinating. An exquisite creation.

If any kind I wouldn't mind loose in the house would be itsy bitsy Jumping Spiders.
One thing about Jump Spiders is that they are cute and friendly types, not at all creepy. Did you ever keep one as a pet? I hear that spiders are much more commonly kept as pets in Europe than America. I'm one of the rare exceptions.
One of my first memories was finding a "tarantula" in the front yard at the farm. It looked like a tarantula, but was probably a big wolf spider that looked much bigger because I was pretty small at 4 years old. They always fascinated me.
One of the honors I've had has been to educate people about unusual animals and help them overcome their fears. That gave me an opportunity to share in person that all creatures great and small, it is God Who made them all.

I truly love spiders. I guess I should have been an arachnologist. Even the venomous ones are fascinating to me. There is a black widow living in a barrel outside. There are a few rusted spots on the barrel that she got through. I think she's beautiful and I let her be.
There are wolf spiders in the yard. I'm quite fond of them too. I rescued one by scooping her up in my hand to transport her to a safe spot. She felt so soft in my hand. There is quite a variety of spiders in the yard...bowl & doily, orchard, spotted orb, numerous types of jump spiders, ant mimicking spider, micrathenna, etc. etc. People can see so much life going on just right out in their yard! I live on the edge of the country, so I'm blessed to see and hear a lot of wildlife (even more than when I lived in the country). But I know wildlife can be seen in the city too. Last fall I was visiting a house in Atlanta and while I didn't see as much wildlife as I do where I live, I did see lizards, various spiders, deer, chipmunks, bats, an owl, etc. all without leaving the yard. We just need to stop and see what's going on around us.
I haven't had a pet in decades. I guess I'm not really a pet person. I tend to like to let wild things roam where they like. It's not that I have anything against pets, but I like wildlife so much I'd be overtaken by all the critters I'm fond of lol. Actually, they've kinda overtaken me anyway. I just seen the raccoon at the front door. Wanting a snack, no doubt.

Outdoors spiders are cool. They do not belong indoors and will be killed if I see them here.
We currently have a spider who keeps rebuilding his web right where it catches my face when I go around the corner of the carport to feed the dog. I call it Charlie, just so I will have a name to fuss at when I get a face full of web. "Doggone it Charlie!"

Spiders inside the house will eventually dry out unless they’re big and hairy lol. If they did get the job done by taking out the bugs I’d maybe let them live, but they’re not very productive at that.
I have a bottle of Raid in every room of my home. I can appreciate that some people love bugs (seriously kudos to ya'll!) but I'm not one of them! I'll even spray butterflies and fireflies. They all creep me out! If the bugs are not inside the house, though, I don't spray them. I'm totally ethical about it.
@Lynx that's kinda funny as I have the exact same situation! But my spider's name is Charlotte because what else are you gonna name a girl spider? Her web is huge and it keeps coming back!

One year a big, iridescent green, writing spider made a web right in front of the porch light.
I always took care to leave the light on overnight to draw a lot of bugs. In the morning that web would look like a flag that had been through a battle, all shot full of holes.

That's another good one to keep in mind and use when needed. I haven't heard of it breaking down connective tissue leading to joint replacement either. The same cannot be said of chemical corticosteroids, antiinflammatories and pain killers.
If people would just spend time reflecting on the profound fact that the creation of this is from God. Jesus made these cures. Jesus is The Great Physician. He alone designed our bodies. He knows how they work to maintain health. He has provided knowledge of these remedies from creation. Satan's medical industries have gone to great efforts to suppress these facts and offered harmful things to God's people. Christians should be sharing these truths far and wide, starting with our circle of influence.
