Yes, from the heart (Romans 10:9,10) we trust 100% in Jesus Christ for salvation. Simply believing that the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ "happened" is believing in our head yet, trusting in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, as the all sufficient means of our salvation, is believing with the heart. (Romans 1:16; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4)
It amazes me how the gospel of Christ which is the power of God unto salvation for everyone who BELIEVES (Romans 1:16) can make certain folks sad. (1 Corinthians 1:18-21)

Not sure if your referring to me, but it does make me sad that others don't follow JESUS into the water.

Wonder if JESUS fills people with HIS spirit and they think they are good to go without being baptized to remove their sins like the fokes in Matthew 7, the ones who worked for HIM and HE sent them to HELL.

Or they haven't even been filled and think their good without it or baptism? THAT'S WHAT IS SAD.

But it is what it is, JESUS said unless a man is born of water and of spirit he cannot enter.

I know in Acts 2:4 they received the Holy Ghost before being baptized in JESUS name and I THINK they must have been baptized and a part of the 3 thousand added. But it's not said exality and I don't like assuming when sharing HIS word.

Who is they you're referring to? I don't think anyone in that chapter received the holy spirit before being baptized.

They, referring to those who JESUS told to wait before going out.

Acts 1:15 And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about an hundred and twenty,)

I think those in the upper room were filled with the Holy Ghost before they were baptized due to the fact that Peter didn't introduce being baptized in JESUS name a short time later after JESUS filling them.

I think, can't prove it they were a part of the three thousand souls that got baptized and were added.

The reason I think that is because no one baptized in JESUS name until then and they for sure would have obeyed Peter.

What I also think, can't prove it is when Peter gave that message it was JESUS through the Holy Ghost talking, the reason I think that is how would Peter know the message was for ALL not just the Jews.

Oh OK. The disciples were all already baptized into Jesus. Being baptized into Jesus name was introduced to non-disciples at Pentecost.

The upper room was where Peter and the other 10 disciples stayed. There's no way 120 people were staying in one room together. The house that they were gathered in when the spirit fell on them and Jews from every nation were gathered together was the house of God, ie, the temple. You can read about this starting at the bottom of page 122 in this book.

First, I know that GOD uses others through the Holy Ghost to explain HIS word in more detail since HIS word does not show us everything in detail.

But those doing so, will have to use scripture backing up their thoughts.

If you know the book your referring to, I see the link but I don't follow links or men with their opinions.

If what he says can be backed up with HIS word, share what it says please.

This is what I know,

JESUS promised the first message to be preached in Jerusalem.

Luke 24:47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

This was that first message.

Acts 2:38-39
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

So in Acts 2:38 was the fist time being baptized in JESUS name.

So tell me if they were not all baptized in JESUS name at that point when were they using HIS word please.

Some problems with you statement.

1.

Acts 1:13 And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James.

14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.

15 And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about an hundred and twenty,)

HIS word say, there was 120 in the same room.

2.

It does not say Jews from every nation until after they were filled.

After verse 4, the story continues.

Acts 2:5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.

6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.

I don't have to be right about anything, thank you GOD BLESS.

So in Acts 2:38 was the fist time being baptized in JESUS name.
So tell me if they were not all baptized in JESUS name at that point when were they using HIS word please.

The disciples were already clean, so they didn't need to be baptized in Jesus' name. They had already spent 3+ years being immersed in him. Those whom Peter was speaking to were not, so they needed to be baptized.

Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. John 15:3

14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.

And where does scripture state this happened?

And they worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy: And were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen. Luke 24:52-53

Acts 2:5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.

6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.

It was the day of Pentecost at 9 in the morning. Where would the disciples and those Jews have been gathered then? At the temple for cermonies and prayers. There was an enormous space surrounding the temple where different sects would gather for teaching and prayer. That is where the disciples were and why all of the other Jews heard what was going on.

If you would simply read that brief part of the book I linked to it will explain it so I don't have to.

No it doesn't. That is being read into the text

Are you implying that all of the 120 of them didn't need there sins removed?

Can you back up with scripture where it implies that spending time with JESUS removed sins?

First thing comes to my mind in Judas Iscariot, he was with JESUS the same amount of time so he also was clean?

NT baptism did not start until Acts 2.

One could say it started when JESUS ascended the first time which is when HE put HIS blood on the mercy seat, not the second time?

Your taking Acts 14 out of context, if you take away the numbers which separates scripture you get this.

Acts 1:13-15
King James Version And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James. These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren. And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about an hundred and twenty,)

I'm sorry you don't agree with HIS word, it's an easy read and very clear. Acts 1:13-15

I don't need to read other men's opinion of what HIS word says, people listening to men leads to so many different denominations all having different thoughts but all think they are right.

JESUS and HIS word is right, we are not.

You are right, verse 15 And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about an hundred and twenty,)

APPROXIMATELY 120 could have been 110? or 130? but it sure wasn't 12 which your implying.

Don't try to convince me with men's opinion, convince me with HIS word Please.

Can you back up with scripture where it implies that spending time with JESUS removed sins?

The verse that I quoted says they were already clean, ie, their sins were forgiven. Jesus told several people that their sins were forgiven before he even went to the cross.

First thing comes to my mind in Judas Iscariot, he was with JESUS the same amount of time so he also was clean?

Judas wasn't with them when Jesus told the disciples they were clean because of the word he had spoken to them and they received. Judas heard, but never received the word, therefore he wasn"t clean

You're making the assumption that them continuing with one accord was in the upper room. Scripture says elsewhere that they were continually in the temple. Furthermore, it mentions 11 people in the upper room, not 120 persons or any women.

I see the verse you shared, now all you have to do is with scipture join when he says you are clean with their sins being remitted.

JESUS for sure forgave sins when HE walked with us.

You said, "They had already spent 3+ years being immersed in him."

So Judas was included with your thougt process.

When JESUS said they are clean, clean of what? I don't know myself but if your implying clean of sins then prove it.

I'm not making any assumptions, it says what it says.

If you're implying something different then you will be able to clarify it in HIS word, with HIS word, prove there was less than 120.

I will believe you.

What about Jesus' commands in the Sermon on the Mount for us not to be angry (the same as murder), lust (the same as adultery), and worry (the same as trying to second-guess God's will), for example? When we believe and begin following Jesus, God the Father justifies us (declares us "not guilty") for all our sins only because of Jesus' death, but we remain sinners who need God's daily cleansing and power to make spiritual progress through Jesus' resurrection. That's where our prayers of confession and calling on God to make us a blessing to others come in.
