When they asked Jesus was work they were required to do

Jesus responded. "It is the work of God that we believe in the one he sent"
John6-28-29.png

John 6 verses 28-29 ~ “What must we do to perform the works of God?” Jesus replied, “The work of God is this: to believe in the One He has sent.”

Revision version 3.1 (RDF = Rightly Divided From):

The THREE Tenses Of God's ETERNAL Salvation:

"But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should
not trust in ourselves, but in God Which raiseth the dead: Who
Delivered us from So Great A Death,...
(RDF)

...and Doth Deliver:...
(RDF)

...in Whom we trust that He Will Yet Deliver us;"
(2 Corinthians 1:9-10)
----------------------------
E-X-P-A-N-D-E-D version:

Precious friend(s), Is not the Solution to Confusion recog-
nizing These THREE, And, Also, God's Differences Between
"HIS Relationship With us," And (RDF) "our fellowship with HIM!"?

God's Will, Today, Under HIS PURE GRACE? Very Simply:

► faith (100% trust/belief with the heart!) ◄
1) Past Tense = "...God Delivered us from So Great A Death...":

God Establishes HIS Eternal Relationship
With
those who humbly repent and

believe, 100% trust, place Total faith, In The LORD JESUS CHRIST,
HIS Death (
Precious BLOOD) , Burial, And HIS Resurrection,
According To The Scriptures!

(1 Corinthians 15:3-4; cp Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 3-5)

"GRACE Through faith" In The Merits
Of HIS
ALL-Sufficient BLOOD Results:

All sins Forgiven, His Eternal Life, And, Peace With God!
(Ephesians 1:7; Colossians 2:13; Romans 6:23; Romans 5:1)

This Is Eternal Deliverance From the Penalty of sin,
The So Great A [Second ] Death! (Revelation 21:8) =
Justification
and Spiritual Sanctification
(2 Corinthians 1:10a cp Romans 3:24)

(More Biblical Confirmation is here: God's ETERNAL Assurance!
And here:

God's OPERATION On All HIS New-born babes In CHRIST!)

► faith ◄
God's ETERNAL Justification/Relationship Is First, And, Then:

Rightly Divided (2 Timothy 2:15) From “Things That Differ” (online)

►► love ◄◄
(2) Present Tense = "...God Doth Deliver us...":

All believers Should do "good works" {Which will Never
Equal CHRIST's Payment For the above Penalty of sin!},
for Which we Are Created In CHRIST JESUS, to perform
for Him, having "been Called into fellowship With Him!"
(
Ephesians 2:10; 1 Corinthians 1:9) Amen?:

We "work out our own salvation" (Philippians 2:12). This
Should Be a lifetime of Daily submission, and renewing,
being "not conformed to this world" (Romans 12:1-2),
for Grace Deliverance From the power of sin!}
(2 Corinthians 1:10b) = personal sanctification:

(2a) Christ Living In us, To Fulfil:

All Of His Law, In "One Word: Love thy neighbor as thyself!"
(
Galatians 5:14; Romans 13:8-10)

(2b) His Spirit Guiding and Teaching us, How To:

"Study to shew thyself Approved Unto God, a work-man
that needeth not to be ashamed, Rightly
Dividing The Word Of Truth!" (2 Timothy 2:15)

Eternal Results: reward (GOOD works Required!) [or loss (BAD works!) *]
(1 Corinthians 3:8-15), ruling and reigning [or not *] With CHRIST, Which
Will
Finally Be At The Judgment Day!

* More study: Finishing The Race

►► love ◄◄:

Rightly Divided (2 Timothy 2:15) From “Things That Differ” (online)

►►► Blessed HOPE! ◄◄◄
(3) Future Tense = "...God Will Yet Deliver us":

CHRIST's Glorification of All "members" Of HIS Body!!
{This Is Eternal
Deliverance From the Presence of sin!}
(1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 1 Corinthians 15:51-57;
2 Corinthians 1:10c). Hallelujah! Praise HIS Excellent Name!!
----------------------------------
Conclusion:

BIG Differences Between the THREE tenses Of God's Eternal Salvation,
And Between God's Relationship And (RDF) our fellowship! Correct?

Please Be Very RICHLY Encouraged And Edified In
The LORD JESUS CHRIST, And His Word Of Truth, Rightly
Divided
(+ I and II).

How to be reborn, Believe, repent, get baptized in JESUS name and pray for JESUS to fill us with the Holy Ghost like JESUS (keywords here) HIS DISCIPLES in Acts 2:4. John 3:5 Acts 2:38

You will not find how to be reborn after the book of Acts since those are letter to church or folks who have already been saved with the foundation of the book of Acts.

It takes a lot of time putting together all kinds of scriptures to make it sound like there are different gospel or ways to be reborn but GODS word is not that complicated.

So keep it simple, since we are born in sin just tell me how we get rid of them.

To keep it simple show me fokes after the book of who JESUS filled with the spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues.

According to JESUS both are needed to be reborn.

Precious friend, you are correct, it will take Eternity to understand All of the Scriptures, eh?

Will do:

"Believe On The LORD Jesus Christ and thou Shalt Be Saved..." (Acts 16:31 AV)
Amen.
And keep holiness and endure to the end, waiting for the second coming of Jesus Christ.Amen

Acts 16,

31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

32 And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house.

33 And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway.

What did Paul speak of in veses 32?

What happened after they believed?

Why were they being baptized?

If just believe why did Paul baptized them?

IT WAS NOT FOR SHOW, IT WAS AT MIDNIGHT NO ONE AROUND.

A lot of people say faith alone and then fail at love making their faith void.

And it happens to millions of people.

1Co 13:13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

Gal 5:6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

Charity, love in action, is greater than faith, and faith works by love.

No love, no faith.

1Co 13:2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

Jas 2:14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
Jas 2:15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
Jas 2:16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
Jas 2:17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

Jas 2:24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

1Jn 3:17 But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
1Jn 3:18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

Paul said he could have all faith that he could remove mountains but if he did not have charity he is nothing.

James said without charity their faith is dead.

John said without charity the love of God does not dwell in them.

And do not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed, works, and in truth.

For love can only be valid if it is in works which is why it is called charity.

Which is why James said a person is justified by works which is by love and not faith alone.

They misunderstand Paul and think it applies throughout their walk with Christ.

We are saved faith, and not by works when we first confess Christ for that is all we can do.

But when we receive the Spirit we have to have works of love or our faith is not valid.

Which Paul points that out that without charity, works of love, he is nothing.

Paul and James say the same thing have works of love or your faith is void.

Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.

We are saved by grace through faith but if no love, no faith, no grace.

2Ti 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

Mat 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

2Ti 3:4 lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
2Ti 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
2Ti 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

1Co 13:5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
1Co 13:6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth.

Gal 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Gal 5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
Gal 5:24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
Gal 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Love does not think an evil thought, and does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth to be led of the Spirit and abstain from sin.

But millions of people deny the Spirit leading them and lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God and hold on to sin, and never able to come to the truth but believe they are alright with God.

Millions of people not in the position of love but believe they are saved by faith alone.

Which their faith is dead.

1Ti 6:5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
1Ti 6:6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
1Ti 6:8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
1Ti 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

The love of money is the root of all evil for it neglects the poor and needy, and love is the fulfilling of the law.

Any person that goes by their wants neglects this and is not love.

God only blesses us with our needs, not our wants, which is why the Bible says having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

But millions of people believe it is alright to enjoy money and material things their wants and believe God is blessing them with their wants the prosperity Gospel.

Millions of people not in the position of love but believe they are saved by faith alone.

Which their faith is dead.

Heb 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
Heb 10:27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

If a person holds on to sin the blood of Christ cannot wash it away for God will not take away a sin they hold on to.

A person led of the Spirit might sin for we are in the flesh but they will repent of it not wanting it and mean it and allow the Spirit to lead them having the right attitude.

But a person that denies the Spirit leading them will repent of the sin as they do it but will hold on to the sin for they will not give it up making excuses as if they cannot stop doing it.

God knows the heart whether you want sin or not.

Precious friend, great questions:

God Was Transitioning from Law (with two baptisms) Over To Grace ( Now with Only ):

which simply means NO "works salvation" any longer, In God's New "Dispensation of GRACE!"
(Ephesians 2:5-10; Titus 3:4-7; Romans 3:24 AV)

Amen.

Not sure what happened you failed to answer my question's?

Don't you think it was a little deceiving only sharing one verse and not the whole story???

We are saved by grace that is a fact and I agree 100% no works.

Works comes after we have been reborn, if we do nothing what good are we and lose our salvation.

He went thought a lot of trouble making it so we could be saved by grace.

What does the name john mean in hebrew?

In Hebrew, the name John (or the closely related "Yochanan") means "God is gracious" or "Yahweh has shown favor". It is derived from the Hebrew name "Yohanan", which combines "Yo" (short for Yahweh, the Hebrew name for God) and "chanan" (meaning "to be gracious").

The foundation of getting rid of our sins, water baptism.

Then Matthew, Mark, Luke and John when JESUS was with us ALL OF THE TEACHING of JESUS in those books.

When JESUS ascended the second time that is when the NT started and being baptized in JESUS name was used anyone baptized by John had to be rebaptized.

This is what JESUS says we must do to be saved, John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

So it's clear we need to be born of water and of spirit to ENTER.

This is what Peter said we must do to be saved, Acts 2:38-39
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Peters messaged is almost word for word as John 3:5 AND LOOK what happened when people OBEYED what Peter said.

Acts 2:41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

THEY OBEYED and about THREE THOUSAND SOULS were ADDED.

NOW that same formula to be REBORN was used in Acts 8, Acts 10 and Acts 19 which included being baptized in JESUS name AND receiving the Holy Ghost and speaking in tongues.

If you saying we have a TN and a NT PART 2 and we are in a new dispensation of grace then where are the SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS in NT PART 2 ON HOW TO BE SAVED like in Acts 2 which is the building of the church?

When you show me those SPECIFIC instructions show examples of people being saved like in the book of Acts please. You know like Acts 8, Acts 10 and Acts 19 or Acts 2 where THREE THOUSAND SOULS were ADDED.

Thank you.

Mat 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.

Act 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Act 2:39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Jews were baptized in the name of Jesus.

Act 8:14 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:
Act 8:15 Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:
Act 8:16 (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)
Act 8:17 Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.

Samaritans were baptized in the name of Jesus.

Act 19:3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism.
Act 19:4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.
Act 19:5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

Gentiles were baptized in the name of Jesus and those baptized by John were baptized in the name of Jesus.

Also Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are titles not names and name is singular.

Joh 5:43 I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.

Heb 1:4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

It appears Jesus is the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

Col 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

Everything we do in word or deed is to be done in Jesus' name including baptism.

Rom 6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
Rom 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
Rom 6:5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
Rom 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

Joh 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Some people believe baptism is for Church admission, or showing faith.

But the Bible says we are baptized in to Jesus' death and if we do that we shall rise to newness of life with Him.

We have to identify with the man Christ Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection, by repenting, being water baptized, and being led by the Holy Spirit.

You cannot cut out the middle man or look at it in a different way for it is part of the salvation plan of God.

1Pe 3:20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.
1Pe 3:21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

This says baptism does now save us which is water baptism for it is comparing it the flood which eight souls were saved.

I did not think you said something else and was not trying to correct you and was not saying you said something wrong.

I just wanted to post how the scriptures are clear and I agree with you.

And somebody else might read it.

Did you know you left out Acts 10?

That was when the Gentiles received the Holy Ghost and were baptized in the name of Jesus.

For sure don't mean to take away from what you did post!!

Act 19:1 And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples,
Act 19:2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.
Act 19:6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.

I wanted to use Acts 19 to show that Gentiles were baptized in the name of Jesus because it includes those baptized with John's baptism had to be baptized in the name of Jesus and it says they did not know of the Holy Spirit and received the Spirit.

I could of used Acts 10 but Acts 19 covers it.

“And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.”
‭‭John‬ ‭20:28-29‬ ‭KJV‬‬
Thank you there are many, I like this one maybe the best.

John 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

JESUS speaking here on earth and he says he's in Heaven.

Thank you, we sure need to get the word out.

So many people here need to hear it.

I asked because I was hoping you didn't think I ment something else so I could change or clarifie somegthing I said. I mess up now and again lol.

Acts 10, what I like about it also is if JESUS did't fill them with the Holy Ghost first Peter would have never baptized them.

It was not only to convince Peter but to show us the truth also and it's JESUS who does the filling and in his timing.

I know in Acts 2:4 they received the Holy Ghost before being baptized in JESUS name and I THINK they must have been baptized and a part of the 3 thousand added. But it's not said exality and I don't like assuming when sharing HIS word.

“Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, And they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭1:23‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I love the certainty and clarity of the prophets beforhand coupled with the gospel afterwards it’s indeniable

Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour. I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭43:10-12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

after he came

“And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭5:20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

in the ot he was dwelling in the heavens and sending occasional messengers to earth even visiting a time or two himself like when he initially appeared on Sinai before he gave the people to the unforgiving angel for building the molten calf and worshipping it . After that time his glory departed from the earth but he began telling the people one day he would come as a shepherd to fether his people and lead them into n truth and righteousness walking among them and later he came to earth

Its really cool to follow the prophetic line of the messiah you can follow it from genesis to revelation which clearly reveals Christ the lord and God of all creation

What I like is no where in HIS book does it say my name is!

We have to seek and we will find. GOD IS GOOD JESUS IS ALIVE.

AMEN and AMEN.

faith (100% trust/belief with the heart!)
Yes, from the heart (Romans 10:9,10) we trust 100% in Jesus Christ for salvation. Simply believing that the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ "happened" is believing in our head yet, trusting in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, as the all sufficient means of our salvation, is believing with the heart. (Romans 1:16; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4)
