Godly guys finding purity attractive?

I don't care for the scantily clothed. I don't care for the foul mouthed. I don't care for the materialistic. I don't care for the "prim and proper". As far as looks. I'm simple. Easy to please. I really don't care what a person looks like. Once, a young girl in my Speech class was giving her "hook", went sometihng like this...

Her: "Have you ever looked at someones face and thought, they are just ugly?"

Me talking outloud, but not blurting: "No, I'm not that shallow" This was rude of me, and I admit it.

A few kids in the class: "AHAHAHAHA! Yeah! Dude?!!? What is with you!??!" What shocks me looking back, was that these kids were the loser,nerd, atheists, and agnostics... I sometimes wonder if many Christians are more concerned with appearance than the soul.

She continued her speech, about how to apply what I call "fakeup".

Case and point, big expensive houses, new cars, expensive cars, expensive showy clothing. Can't feed and clothe the poor, if you are spending huge amounts of money on your house, cars, and clothing.


I actually was "attracted" to Christianity, originally because of a small Faith Baptist Church near where I live. The women and girls dress modestly, and don't "over-do" the fakeup. Personally, I see no problem with not putting on fakeup. I wish we could just accept each others bodies for what they are. Instead, we have to "prep", before going out into the world. I should stop here before I rant.

im not a guy..but i find attractive a guy who is pure..now whats the meanin of attractive to me...[bc i think some ppl have a diferent def]..
1. appealing to the senses or mind through beauty, form, character, etc.
2. possessing the ability to draw or pull

but i still believe whats in side is better
and "pure"is ovbiously inside
... God made us beautiful!!we r his most precious creation

I like it a lot when a girl is "pure", but I think of it like this. The pure girls already have what they need, which is God. I want to find a girl who isn't and try to get them to go to church and get saved. I think that would be much more rewarding for a relationship. It can be very hard probably though.

In most cases that I have heard of, the person who is trying to convert the other ends up falling away from God.
 
i have a purity ring that i wear everyday and it has an inscription on it that says: Today , I promise I will wait, agreeing to stay pure, because I know God loves me and His blessing is in store. I wear it to remind me of a promise i made with God, and when people at school see the ring that i wear on my ring finger everyday they ask me about it and i let them read it and tell them about it....haha when ever guys read it they give me the weirdest look:P but whatever. and i knew this woman that had a purity ring and she wore it until the day of her wedding and her husband took it off and replaced it with a wedding ring! i think that that is so special! :D .......
also, guys can get purity rings tooo
 
Purity is so awesome. I base attractiveness on the inside and not the exterior. I think if a female is pure and living a great life pleasing to God, I think it makes them wonderful.

I'm single and I'm waiting for a "pure" gal. There aren't many around. I guess she'll come along when God gives her the OK :p

Niiiiiiiiiiiice... are they the sort of thing you buy as bric-a-brac or as jewellery... in jewellery shops? :)

you can usually find them at the christian book store, atleast thats where i got mine. i think that the ring has an amazing sentimental value and that people need to make the decision about one for themselves. i wasnt pressured by my parents or church to get one, i just thought that it was a good idea for me. plus when im considering dating someone and they ask about it or i tell them about it, they can know that i take the ring seriously and im not going to compromise its meaning. and if they dont agree with that, then they can hit the road.

I am just going to come out and ask.If a girl has had sex but has asked
God to forgive her would a Chritian guy still like her in that way?[
 
I love that , its amazing to see a woman of God with her head on right and loves him so much you cant help bu tbe attracted to her, and i mean that literally its so hard to find a young lady that isnt a player or a phein of pleasure, im still a virgin and plan on being one until im married so its lovely to see a young woman of God about her buisness and its very hard not to like a proverbs 31 theyre like, mosquitos to blood , or kids to ice cream its so hard not to admire them and i say admire beacause thats what we do men of valor admire women of God greatly so dont stop what you are doing ladies!
