need two more...
Full gospel?
Cessationist ( Baptist)?
Prophetic?
If you want American safe non power stuff...any Baptist will be OK.
You can list a hundred of them.
Your post is Baptist good, all full gospel bad.hello Psalm 1. Good to meet you. After some years in Full Gospel Business Men's Meetings and an AOG church I left that stream and joined a Baptist Church in 2009. While some Baptists are cessationist I would say that not all are. And I would say that as far as Full gospel is concerned, there's a difference between God speaking and people making stuff up (Jeremiah 14:14), but no accountability for the distinction to be enforced. I think the main beef many have with Baptist Churches (in my experience) is that there is some level of accountability and care for the sheep, whereas my experience of Full Gospel was a free for all, with unstable but outgoing persons allowed free reign to do what they wanted to the sheep, without accountability. Most people I knew from Full Gospel Circles including myself were given false personal prophecies, the person who gave the false prophecy was never held to account. Sometimes these false prophecies were unsolicited and given publicly, for example one single guy and friend of my uncle was put on the spot at a Full Gospel meeting by a 'prophetess' and publicly accused of cheating on his wife. A single man!! The preached word of God has power and is flawless, every word of God is flawless and is a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces.
One Baptist speaker I would recommend is John Mackay from Creation Research, I have heard him speak and have met him.
Another would be Ken Ham from Answers in Genesis
God Bless All![]()

I could never just give up on heaven and trade it for a powerless denomination.
Powerless.Hello Psalm 1. Good to hear from you. My post was meant to say that in my experience one aspect of Full Gospel can be bad. In my experience there are no checks and accountability on who can give words, especially words of knowledge and words of prophecy and it leads to vulnerable people being led up the garden path. With checks and accountability it would perhaps work better.

Wherever the gospel is preached there is power, for it is the power of God unto Salvation for all who believe. God Bless![]()
They have no idea of the authority of the believer.
And I don't see how any of them can get any answers to prayer. They are faithless indeed
Ok.It really seems impossible to find a church or a ministry which covers it all.
It's like some of them focus entirely on prophecy or holiness or healing or deliverance, but nobody has it all.![]()
Ok.
Seek out full gospel churches.
( those that still believe in miracles signs and wonders)
Now...in those churches is the "remnant believers"
( believers sold out to Jesus and obsessed with Him)
Hang around those "strange ones".
You will soar.
You will never be the same.
Be madly in love with Jesus and let this world of pain go wherever it will.
Try out 4 or 5 churches....or more, and find home groups.
Ok.But the "full gospel" churches which believe in healing and all that are often times weird charismatic churches, at the same time!
Just because a pastor believes in healing, miracles, tongues etc does not mean he cannot be a heretic or a dangerous person.
What about the NAR folks? I am sure they also believe in all this stuff.
Ok.
Whatever
