Does anyone here do any types of fitness/healthy eating?

Or do you fitness whole pizza in my mouth?

Or do you do both? Because, I definitely do both :p Pizza and fitness are both my passion.

That was punny... I’m on a seafood diet... whatever food I sea I eat! Probably a well known pun.

Anyways, I use to have a personal trainer two years ago and was in the gym for 10 months until I hurt my shoulder and the gym closed down and my trainer went onto other opportunities. I need to get back into a healthy routine again... maybe we all can have a fitness/healthy lifestyle support group here?!?!

I run when Im scared...
Otherwise bookworms keep fit by reading lots of books I guess. And then having pizza after reading 7.

I want to start or rather resume my fitness journey. I find it very difficult to stay consistent with my work outs and the gyms shutting down have nothing to do with it. :sneaky:

As far as diet I'd say I eat somewhat healthy. I tried to go Kosher a few years ago but I only cut out certain seasfood and pork. I don't think I could handle the full Kosher diet.

Are we going to start a fitness challenge this year?

I'd love to get myself back on track with fitness. I was make great strides, then between that and my keto diet, holidays hit, friends offered me cookies and it all ended. Then Covid hit and my usual daily walks around the office and work stopped and i got weaker.

I should get back on track. If I want a woman who is in good shape I should be willing to offer being the same.

Screenshot_20210115-145752_Google.jpgI like to work out by taking three bites of this bad boy, then three sit-ups alternating until complete consumption! 😳😅🤣

Hmm...

I don't really exercise a lot. I don't watch what I eat, unless you count watching to make sure it doesn't fall off the fork. And I'm not grossly overweight.

There is only one thing I do that most people do not do. My mother taught me to do this, and it is the only reason i can think of for myself not weighing 400 pounds.

I drink water half an hour before meals, and I never drink with or directly after meals.

Yup, that's all.

Do you continue eating pretty healthy?

Amen, sounds like basically me in the evenings.

YES! Let's do a challenge. Have any suggestions?

Did you lose much weight when you did Kosher, even though you might've not done the whole thing?

I'm working my butt off to try to get back on track. I kind of fell off the bandwagon during Christmas. :/

How did you do on the keto diet?

Get out of here with your tempting foods.

Ah, I haven't heard that before! I've heard where you drink right before dinner (like, seconds before you eat).

Did you find that you were fuller?

I started last year and then broke my back. However, I'm back at it. I eat a very protein rich diet. Red Meats, Rice, veggies along with some chicken broth and duck fat are my typical meals. I love sweet potato fries, and drink a lot of orange juice. I work out by running trails, using weights, and practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Nope. I just digest my food more effectively without a lot of water to dilute my stomach acid.

While one would think that would make me fatter, because I'm getting more out of my food... it doesn't seem to work that way.

I was thinking some sort of accountability. That's what helped me when I was more consistent with my workouts. I had a buddy and we'd tease each other about missing a day. That kept us motivated to stay on track and we didn't show any measurement check ins.

I think my weight stayed the same but I feel less tired so that's a plus!

I need to get back into weight lifting. Fell off the fitness wagon during the holidays.

So how would the support group thing work?
If I am about to order pizza, I get on the forum and say "I am about to order pizza" and then y'all all try to talk me down off the cliff edge?
Would you send pictures of a 400 lb me? Or just gifs of someone puking? Maybe a video clip of someone at the pizza store spitting on the pizza?
And then I say.. "ok, ok.. I won't do it. I'll just eat another salad with one tablespoon of dressing and a gallon of water and go to bed. Thanks Guys!"

How bout we all do a reading log and write down the books we read, maybe rate them, and then keep a tally. Every seventh book we eat pizza!

Or would you rather just run around in circles. if you want to do that someone needs to be the chaser.

I'm not sure if I have ever started LOL. I go in spurts. I lose focus. It would be cool to have a support group. I have an idea of what I want to do... just need to go for it... again lol.

Maybe a new thread with eating healthy/exercise support group? Fitness is important, but being mindful of what we eat is just as important or more!

Oh, gosh - sorry about your back! I'm glad you're better and seems like you're better! Especially since you're working out pretttttty well!
