I have to second this.

And I have to give kudos to @OLDBUTNEW for understanding that we all cope differently. Sure, we aren't supposed to wallow in our pain, but for some of us, talking about it -- getting it out -- is crucial to our healing.

And, @33Michael33, if I may offer a few random thoughts in reply to some of the other posts here...

I do think one of the most disappointing things for Christians is looking for things specifically labeled "Christian" (websites, businesses, places, etc.) and expecting them to be different because they're supposed to be "Christian."

Having grown up in Christian communities all my life, the one sure thing I can tell you about anything slapped with the "Christian" label is that it's going to involve a lot of people who all sin in different ways, but then use "God has my back" as their excuse. I am by no means any kind of exception. EVERY Christian does this to some degree.

All that anything labeled "Christian" really means is that the people there will all hold on to their own reasons (all backed by Scripture, of course) for saying and doing whatever they do -- whether they're doing right or wrong.

As far as the Ignore function goes -- I understand that for some, this is a God-send and I wholeheartedly endorse it for those who need it. But the problem then comes in with trying to still be an active participant within the threads.

I remember years ago when this site was very active, there was someone who said they had over 60 people on Ignore -- and was still trying to give their input in the threads. The thing is, you won't know what's going on, or who said what, or to whom -- and it's going to make it sound like you are literally throwing punches in the air.

A while back we had a guy in Singles who was giving... lessons... But he didn't like what most of us were saying, so he said he had most of us on Ignore -- but would still jump into any all all discussions, often chewing people out for no reason -- simply because he wasn't/couldn't read 2/3 of any given conversation.

If Ignore helps one's peace of mind, by all means, feel free to use it.

But the downside is that it may also mean you'll come into conversations with only a fraction of what's being talked about, and you'll be posting answers in the dark.

For myself, I can't use it -- I've found that if I'm going try to write threads effectively, I have to know what's being said -- even when I'd really wish I didn't have to.

Soulsearch is an awesome sister!:)(y)

I truly appreciate the kindness -- thank you so much. :giggle:

But really... My mind is always running -- and I have a tendency to only be able to hold it in so long -- at some point, all those thoughts just come spilling right out onto the screen!

I'm just honored and thankful to God if a few of those thoughts are relatable to others -- and might even help them in some small way. 🙏

Thank you so much again! :giggle:

Like I Said, People are going to do what they want. It is just sad that a site like this can't be any different than any other social media.
Yeah, it's certainly a major shortcoming of the wireless generation.

I am not innocent, I have hurt others unintentionally because of my own pain. That Stops now. I will not continue to put my pain out there in hopes of others to try and make me feel better. And I don't expect anyone to change as they are who they are. I Trust in God Alone from Now on In ALL THINGS. GOD BLESS YOU ALL. 🙏
Ok! Now you've humbled yourself, confessed and repented, and assumed a proper position where the Holy Spirit can begin to act on your behalf.

I've read all your posts here. The short story is, you have been demonized from the start (re: the OP and "panic attacks" and loneliness and all the subsequent ungodly dramas).

What is not being taught within the supposed body of Christ is deliverance. We have ppl who do not believe that a believer can have devils (aka demons). But he can. The Holy spirit may be the resident Spirit, but in the flesh dwells no good thing i.e. the flesh is where the demons hang out. And the reason why they hang out there is because someone (usually yourself, but often it is generational spirits than have been allowed access by rellies) did not step up to close that door.

I have found that most ppl are not aware of the reality of generational spirits, familial spirits, that have been given the right to rule. An innocent victim can be and will be violated by unclean spirits if that victim's up-line is satanically empowered. If no one steps in to close the open (sin) door, then those under the present or past authority of that person, to whatever degree, will suffer.

We've all heard the factoid that if one's father is a drunkard, then his children are 20 times more likely to become drunkards, also. That's the spirit of drunkenness coming down the family line, all because the one who was in a position of authority to stop that unclean spirit, did not do so. These spirits prefer to remain in a family line, as they continue to learn a lot about your rellies. They know a lot about your father, your grandfather, your great grandfather; they know a lot about how you spend your fun hour.

I understand that your posts are a showcase of classic demonic activity; they evince a complete unawareness of the spiritual reality of generational sin and of the subsequent spirits that have been allowed access to you precisely because of those generational sins.

First, I'll give you an example relating to the "panic attacks," then I will move on to how you get set free.

The word panic originates with the demon Pan:

"Disturbed in his secluded afternoon naps, Pan's angry shout inspired panic (panikon deima) in lonely places. Following the Titans' assault on Olympis, Pan claimed credit for the victory of the gods because he had frightened the attackers. In the Battle of Marathon (490 BC), it is said that Pan favored the Athenians and so inspired panic in the hearts of their enemies, the Persians." - wikipedia

With your "panic attacks," I believe you're dealing with a well-known devil (aka demon) from antiquity colloquially known as the nightmar. Note the modern spelling has added the letter "e" at the end. Let's expose this creature that still torments millions of people in their bedrooms today.

American Dictionary of the English Language, Noah Webster, 1828:
NIGHTMAR, n. [night and Sax, mara, incubus, nightmar. Mara may be from the root of merran, to stop, to hinder, or it may be the Rabbinic, an evil spirit or demon.]

From wikipedia: An incubus is a male demon in human form in folklore that seeks to have sexual intercourse with sleeping women; the corresponding spirit in female form is called a succubus. Parallels exist in many cultures.

So the nightmar is an incubus (i.e. the male form, whereas succubus is the female form).

Continuing with American Dictionary of the English Language, Noah Webster, 1828, we find:
INCUBUS, n. [L. from incubo, to lie on.]
1. The nightmar; an oppression of the breast in sleep, or sense of weight, with an almost total loss of the power of moving the body, while the imagination is frightened or astonished.
2. A demon; an imaginary being or fairy.

The Online Etymology Dictionary, ©2010 Douglas Harper, tells us:
"Meaning shifted mid-16c. from the incubus to the suffocating sensation it causes. Sense of "any bad dream" first recorded 1829; that of "very distressing experience" is from 1831."

Here is The American Heritage® Stedman's Medical Dictionary, in which we find today's watered down definition familiar to everyone:
nightmare, n.
1. A dream arousing feelings of intense fear, horror, and distress.
2. An event or experience that is intensely distressing.

As you can see, the true origin of nightmar has been watered down and covered up today.

And so, a nightmar (aka nightmare) is not "sleep paralysis" but a demon - the hackneyed panic attack.

And second, what must we do to get set free?

I have a ministry of deliverance. I have cast out demons. I have also done self-deliverance on myself. Casting out of demons is real. But it's not a talisman that just anyone can appropriate. One must have an unshakeable steadfast faith in Jesus Christ and a belief in the power of his blood. You can talk Buddha or Mohammed or whatever all day long, but such won't budge a demon. A greater demon may even throw a lesser demon under the bus to fake you out. The one and only thing they all fear is the blood of Jesus Christ.

There is an order to the "procedure." One must first get clean, going through sanctification continuously; it is a process. One first crucifies the flesh, then casts out the demon(s). You have begun that process as per your quoted comment above. Without repentance, and forgiveness of the perpetrators, none of this is possible. And the demons will know if you're not 'fessed up; their spirit sizes up your spirit, and if you're short, then you get your behind handed to you.

This is not a game, this is spiritual warfare.

I prefer that deliverance take place among other true believers, because I want to be held accountable and I covet their support. But self-deliverance is also a possibility.

Your words are the vehicle by which you can effect change in the spiritual realm; we live and die by them. So SPEAK THIS OUT LOUD, so there be no doubt, in a place of no distraction, in your prayer closet.

1- humility
God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. So when you come to him, you must come with an attitude of complete humility. Ask the Holy Spirit to be present with you and to bring to your remembrance all that is necessary for deliverance.

2- confess
God already knows your entire story, but he requires that you bring it into the light. Confess all your sins, known and unknown, to the Lord. Call a spade, a spade - not an agricultural implement. IOW, keep it direct, simple and honest. Don't worry about your dignity; it will return later.

Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech...Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. (2 Cor. 3:12, 17)

I keep what I call my "Laundry List" - a listing of my sins, everything I can remember, presently about 30 items/sins going all the way back. It's on my thumb drive. I call it a laundry list because laundry will eventually get washed clean! I pray over EVERY item.

3- repent
You must detest your sin. Tell the Lord you hate it. Turn completely away from it.

4-forgive
For most, this is the hardest part because some have been horribly harmed (e.g. rape, incest, etc.). But, if you do not forgive ALL OTHERS, God will not forgive you. Remember that this is NOT an emotion, it is a CHOICE. Yes, you may be holding a lawful I.O.U., but now you are CHOOSING to tear up that I.O.U.!!! Also remember to forgive your forefathers, your ancestors, your rellies, back to the third and fourth generations. Why? Because the sins of the forefathers i.e. those in authority over you, are visited down to the third and fourth generation i.e. to YOU. For example, do you know with certainty that there are no spirits of drunkenness or murder or adultery or witchcraft in your family line? No, you do not, so you must stand in the gap and FORGIVE THEM UNCONDITIONALLY nonetheless. Doing so closes the door to those generational demons. YOU ARE REMOVING THEIR LEGAL RIGHT TO TORMENT YOU AND YOUR OFFSPRING when you forgive your rellies. The first to forgive is the first to get set free.

Remember that God sees and records all. ALL will be held accountable for their own sins,

Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. (Rom. 12:19)

5-claim and appropriate his authority, and EXPEL
Claim Jesus Christ as your Saviour AND Lord. Be absolutely certain that you are his.

There is only one thing more powerful that satan and/or his demons, and that is Jesus Christ. When we come into OBEDIENCE thru REPENTANCE and FORGIVENESS, then we can effectively appropriate Christ's authority and deal victoriously with the enemy.

Now that you have proclaimed your Authority, you may call out i.e. EXPEL the unclean spirit. You do not need to know its name, but only what it does. Example: In Jesus Christ's name, demon of lust, GET OUT. ("Get out" is precisely the words that Jesus Christ said - simple and to the point.)

Demon of rejection, in Jesus' name, GET OUT; demon of pride, GET OUT; demon of pharmakeia/drug use, suicide, loneliness, sexual impurity; witchcraft; occult; vulgar language; envy; jealousy; fear; etc. etc.

After expelling, give the demon time to come out by not saying anything more, IOW, give it time to come out without blocking it. You can have BELIEVER friends there praying for you, quoting the word of God aloud. If you have friends with you, be sure they are of one accord, i.e. they must be in complete agreement, lest the enemy will take advantage of their lack of unity and perhaps stop the deliverance.

When a demon comes out, you might cough and/or bring up sputum, or yawn widely, or feel a great weight removed, or a brightness experienced, or perhaps nothing noticeable at all. Listen for the Holy Spirit, follow his guidance. Others may get a word of knowledge about the situation from the Lord.

Godspeed, my friend.

Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, The Acts, it's all in there for anyone who desires to be healed.
Whenever they are ready for His healing, always has been, always will be, for anyone who will be a doer of the Word, and not a hearer only, rejecting His truth.
best wishes:)(y)

What's with the double 33? Are you a Mason?

Well, it doesn't really matter I guess as far as this thread goes, I suppose. Let me ask you a question, what's on your heart? Do you feel like your suppose to do something, but you have ignored it?

Sometimes life is just no fun, but just remember there are seasons. I just went through a category 5 hurricane life crisis, but things are calming down now,. Are things yippy skippy now, far from it, but maybe in a year or two, they maybe.

I remember a teacher said one time, God will provide, where HE wants you to go. So, things weren't good any more where I was, so I bailed. Now things are looking much better, I was offered a job, when I wasn't looking. And same goes with the ladies. It's like all I need is to lift a finger and things are given to me. That's how you know you are at the right spot maybe. I need about three more months, than I should be back on track. That's what I hope anyways.

Hope this helps. Maybe I don't know what I'm talking about. I would say, don't get discouraged for to long, don't take what people say, to serious, and seek after God. Sometime you have to work really hard to make positive changes. If life was easy, everyone would be living, right? lol. O.k., bad joke. lol

I hope your storm doesn't last to long, and be encouraged, because this life is temporary, and what God has planned is eternal.

Hi 33michael33, Good evening.

The truth is We are to Trust God But we aren't made to be alone either. Social interaction and affection is a good thing. Having someone around us that truly cares genuinely for our well being is God's will for our lives. To know we are Loved by him and by others through him deep within us. As a fear fighter I found Love is always the answer against panic attacks and worry. True love and kindness is found in Jesus of course but also his love is all around us. Through many types of relationships, romantic, brotherly love, Good friendships, healthy family relationships, pets, and so much more. I'm only giving you advice, pursue love. Love doesn't just have to be found in marriage either. I'll pray for you... God bless you!
