Lol I know what you mean!
That's for sure.
But I can use some leftover garden vegetables and beef right now.
A lady I provided consultations for, etc. will likely have over a one million dollar payout to her chosen hospitals. She decided against calling a recommended Naturopathic who would have likely provided recommendations for calming her tight chest that are covered by Dr Daniels' classes plus additional information that would have cost pocket change in comparison. However she had reasons to believe that the ounce of prevention would trump the ER helicopter flight to the hospital.
After insurance was determined to cover a heart transplant and many dangerous drugs, she was high pressured to having a life of another taken to have it switched out for hers. She decided against it for a medical device slapped together bound with medical tape because Red Green wasn't available with his.
I could go on and on, but 70 days later she has a permanent, heavy machine to carry around, with a septic infection likely if she doesn't have a tube switched out of her side daily. They told her that she would be given a drug that has high risk for a stroke. Sure enough they gave it to her and were right. They gave her that stroke right after giving it to her.
However, she was very grateful they "saved her life" by going into her brain with a vacuum and removing the clot they gave her a long with their traumatic brain injury and left side paralysis.
She has trouble swallowing 11 drugs/day now, BUT insurance will possibly cover most of it.
I'm writing the book but will stop with a moral to this lady's experience.
A. Hospitals are in the business of making money through, what they call Profit Centers.....days in hospital, rehab, drug sales, medical devices, transport, "feed", employees hours, pt, etc ad nauseous.
B. Hospitals are not in the business of healing. Jesus is.
He is motivated by loving compassion. Hospitals are motivated by commission ...the love of money.
C. Insurance has financial investments in the pharmaceutical Companies, hospitals, medical device companies, etc. Conflict of interest?
Those who have good insurance are most likely to use it. The salesmen will sell them someone else's heart/ life if they give into that temptation.
If they don't, there's other expensive options offered. As long as the options are not involving low cost, yet potentially more effective ways to actually heal.
Here's an ER doctor who also bought 2 city blocks to establish a clinic to help the poor. She covers the details about insurance that hopefully will bless you and others who read this lengthy post.
Am I obsessed with hatred and murder as some have claimed against me? No, I'm interested in being a blessing to my neighbors who Jesus wants to bless. It doesn't pay the bills yet, but hopefully God's people will receive the love of Christ for their unique challenges.
To your health and happiness!
