There is a reason we are called to NOT BE REMOVED from the SIMPLICITY found in CHRIST..........and the evidence is seen in the confusion sowed by ALL that corrupt the gospel.......
When I read that drivel in that post......I was not only sickened, but angered and the compete ignorance of that statement that LEADS astray......!!!
In post #230 you wrote, religion that binds. Jesus has come to give us liberty, freedom and eternal life, and yet religion binds people. I yearn for people who endure such oppression. I pray such folks embrace what Jesus freely gives us.
AND NOTE....they are going down..........!!!!!!!!!

Exactly. That’s why so many people refuse to come to the Lord, because they’ve been poisoned by religion rather than blessed with Gospel Truth. I’m not referring to anyone on this site, but rather the masses.
You do not have to coddle anyone....this site is full of people that peddle religion over the gospel.......

if you all love so much, why put those who offend you on ignore?
why call names and be rude and say you know things about them, that you actually have no clue about but when that's all you got, that's all you got...nothing like an ad hominum attack when truth AND love fail you
the hypocrisy from some here who want to sing 'all you need is love' is telling. it tells us that they need something else a whole lot more than love cause it ain't working
make a bad stink in the room, ask who did it, then flounce off with your nose in the air

I think we'd all do well to consider this here in the BDF. Lots of opinions, but the way we tear each others hearts out in these discussions and the things that are said to a brother/sister in Christ here shows the real intent is to be right. If you believe what you believe so passionately (on either side) why are we all so angry?!Wouldn't you just say "I'll pray for you brother/sister, that God would reveal to you what he has to me". But no, we get this, the BDF and every time I come here I make a new enemy and I'm sorry I came. smh What a crying shame.

It has nothing to do with how we see the bible. Its all about them,, I think that about explains it.

and that's something that cannot be overcome unless the person who evidences that type of behavior, admits it and turns away from it
but having dealt more times than I care to admit with these personality types, it is rare
churches are full of them
they will confront the pastor cause he ain't doing it right, criticize the worship and spread gossip in the form of 'we need to pray for...., and various other types of behavior that divide and sometimes kill the faith of young Christians

Not one person here doesn't believe they are sharing the truth. And yet none of us is in fellowship with the other. That ought to bother us. We all read the same Bible and pray to the same God (mostly) and yet we cannot speak to one another without screaming and we have no fellowship,nil. I'm wondering why anyone would come in here and think "ya, that's what I'd like to do this weekend, go spend my Sunday with these people". smh

well they teach it by either ignoring it or listening to it
having been in the middle of the behind the curtains goings on, you sometimes find it hard to believe these people have anything but themselves in mind
I could tell a story about a woman who wormed her way into the position of secretary and then basically took over and ordered people around by saying the pastor told me to tell you...staight spiritual witchcraft
in the end she had a nervous breakdown. pastor asked me take over the morning worship...I was doing evenings, but I passed
he was a new pastor and gullible and was taken advantage of
stories. I gotz lotz of em. sigh
