It is law talk when you make faith/believing a condition of man to get saved. To the natural man Faith is a moral obligation to the Law of God Matt 23:23Since you claim that "faith/believing" is "law talk" ... you're the one perverting Scripture ... so you're talking to youself

You are in absolute denial and promoting Salvation by law keeping, a required faith. Yet Faith, believing on Christ is given in Salvation by Grace Phil 1:29 along with perseverance toonope ...
is it your claim that the Philippians were unbelievers striving together for the faith of the gospel ? Seriously, brightfame52? ... you believe unbelievers strive together for the faith of the gospel?
and couple that with your "perversion" that "believing/faith" is "law talk" ... rolleyes
sigh ... standing firm in faith is a token (i.e. evidence) that a person is born again. The firm foundation (i.e. the Lord Jesus Christ) upon which the born again one lives his or her life is what allows the believer to stand firm in the face of adversity. When we do not falter or stumble in trying times but hold fast to our Deliverer, that is evidence to us that we are born again.
nope ... the fact that you cannot grasp the truth of what is written in Philippians 1:29 might be evidence that you are not born again ... think about that, brightfame52.

Exactly!yes ... and as far as the offering ... Heb 11:4 tells us by faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain
and we know from Scripture that faith by hearing and hearing by Word of God (Rom 10:17) ... there must have been a Word of God heard by Cain and Abel.
As you pointed out, Cain rejected and did not offer in faith ... then further rejected God after God reached out to him.
Abel did not reject ... and he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh (Heb 11:4). Even after all these centuries, Abel yet speaketh to those who have ears to hear.

Indeed. FREE WILL choices were made back then either in accord to the Word of God or contrary to it.yes ... and as far as the offering ... Heb 11:4 tells us by faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain

The Lord Jesus Christ told the scribes and pharisees that they omitted faith ... they never came to faith in that which the law pointed to ...Matt 23:23
23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

One has either the Gift of Faith through Grace, which is not required but given by grace, or they have their natural faith, a natural moral quality, which is requited by the Law of God. So if you want required faith, you better keep the whole law of God perfectly if you want to inherit eternal life. Galatians 3:24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
The Lord Jesus Christ revealed the failure on the part of the scribes and pharisees. Jesus was not saying that "faith/believing" is "law talk" as you insist.

Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Eph 2:9 corroborates what we read in Rom 4 (i.e. that faith is not works).

You have made Faith a requirement for salvation, instead of acknowledging it as a Gift of Grace in Salvation, hence you put yourself under law.. no such thing as "natural faith" ... what God has provided for each and every descendant of Adam is faith. All have faith and it is faith in operation which results in believing.
We do not question God having given mankind intellect with which to think ... but we hesitate when it comes God having given mankind faith with which to believe.
intellect in operation results in thinking ... and we can think "good" things as well as "bad" things.
faith in operation results in believing ... and we can believe truth as well as lies.
When we believe a lie the result can be disastrous for us.
When we believe truth the result is beneficial to us.
We can remain weak in faith by believing lies or rejecting the truth ... or we can grow strong in faith as God gives increase when we do not reject the truth of Scripture.
you're the only one who wants "required faith" so you can continue to reject what is plainly written in Scripture.
Just believe what God has written ... no need to twist God's Word into pretzels in a never-ending attempt to align Scripture to your dogma.
Align your dogma to Scripture ... toss out what does not line up with Scripture.
1 Thessalonians 5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

Adam on the other hand was never deceived and died of his own FREE WILL to save his bride.
Just as the Last Adam died of His own free will to save HIS Bride.

The conditional statement is indicated by the word "if," and you're suggesting that God might not give them repentance using Esau as example because he sought it with tears. However, the caveat that is also explicitly declared is not just repentance but 'repentance to the acknowledging of the truth.'Until man has been graciously liberated from the devil by New Birth which gives repentance, man is taken captive by the devil and cannot know the Truth 2 Tim 2:25-26
25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
We cant free ourselves from the captivity of the devil, if you can, you dont need God in Christ to give you repentance.

18 Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.
He has Mercy on whom He will and He hardens according to His own will Rom 9:15-18
