Hell is eternal separation from God.
And what scripture says that? Rev 20 speaks of the LOF as the second death, not eternal separation. The unsaved already live separated from God. That isn't the fate the bible says they will have.
Hell is eternal separation from God.
The second death is the eternal separation from God.And what scripture says that? Rev 20 speaks of the LOF as the second death, not eternal separation. The unsaved already live separated from God. That isn't the fate the bible says they will have.
The second death is the eternal separation from God.
John 7:6-10
6 Then Jesus said to them: My time is not yet come; but your time is always ready. 7 The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth: because I give testimony of it, that the works thereof are evil. 8 Go you up to this festival day, but I go not up to this festival day: because my time is not accomplished. 9 When he had said these things, he himself stayed in Galilee. 10 But after his brethren were gone up, then he also went up to the feast, not openly, but, as it were, in secret.
John 15:16-20
16 You have not chosen me: but I have chosen you; and have appointed you, that you should go, and should bring forth fruit; and your fruit should remain: that whatsoever you shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. 17 These things I command you, that you love one another. 18 If the world hate you, know ye, that it hath hated me before you. 19 If you had been of the world, the world would love its own: but because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. 20 Remember my word that I said to you: The servant is not greater than his master. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you: if they have kept my word, they will keep yours also.
Not what scripture says though. It is a death and a destruction according to scripture, not a separation since there is nothing left of them to be separated from God.
Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Mat_10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
There is a death, then destruction. No "separation".
The separation is sheep from goats, not goats from God.There is separation instead of salvation per the Parable of the Sheep and Goats,
and then there is eternal destruction or death after justice is achieved in hell
perhaps experiencing agony in accordance with the principal of “eye for eye” (Matt. 5:38),
after which souls are destroyed forever (per John 17:12, Rom. 9:22, Gal. 6:8, Phil. 3:19, 2Thes. 1:9, 2Pet. 3:7 & Rev. 20:13-14),
which would be both the final/second death and eternal separation.
God is not one with the goats. The separation is sheep from goats, not goats from God.
*Obviously.*God is not one with the goats.

If something is destroyed and no longer exists then any form of "separation" no longer applies. The LOF is a death and destruction, not an eternal separation. No scripture says the final punishment is separation from God.
I'm going with what the text says, and not presuming on what it doesn't say. Both, unless you are okay with God in hell with the goats.
Okay, if you think something dead and destroyed is with God.
Those who ultimately hate Jesus go to hell.
Hi Intersection.. hope your still not there.. you know at the intersection.. haha pfft. Smile
You have seemed to use the word "ultimately" more the once and seems to be the hook here. Saying this as much as you want the only thing that will happen is you will believe the lie. There is no scripture for this is there? See if this was of God.. you know by His sweet sweet holy Spirit He will always show you/us where He said it in His word. This is one way we test the spirits. See this thought came to you and you didn't test it did you?
See your not talking about your family or kids if you have them no your talking about GODS creation. What point in time are you talking about? He sees the whole life. Then how does one ultimately hate Christ they don't know never met? Then that person that is doing the ultimate hate .. which Christ are we talking about? JW/SDA/MORON/CATHOLIC you get where I'm going right?
its just .. I have never been good with words.. its childish as in babe in Christ. Its what comes to mind "When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. "
Know that Christ said if you were blind you would have no sin. You say you see your sin remains. Others told you much much better then I have. You talked hell but .. no books have been open yet and then you can't see the heart. Your doing exactly what He said man does but He does not. Your looking at flesh.. you cannot see the heart. Were in for a shock at how many are in heaven.. just from the great tribulation .. that number no man can number. ultimate hate.. no such thing I can find anywhere in His word.
