In medical terms it's more common than people think it's called "polydactyl" ,,if you search for it and then select images there's a lot of documentation of it.

! Samuel 17 is the one description that always impressed upon me that they meant Giant. If you look at the description Samuel wrote of the armor Goliath has his coat of mail (5 thousand shekels)+ his spearhead(600 shekels) Goliath is described as standing there with 1195.29 pounds of armor and weapons in his hands and on his body. https://biblehub.com/interlinear/1_samuel/17.htm
There's no need to go to the Dead Sea Scrolls for the truth. They had many corrupted copies of the Bible.
And this further confirms that he was gigantic. There were giants on the earth both before and after the Flood.
lol, or maybe I did my math in pounds instead of grams?(first time I thought to convert it) and so then doing it another way the spearhead is 16 pounds 11 oz, and the armor is 125 pounds so 141 pounds 11oz but does it include his helmet,shin guards ect.? https://www.goliathsspear.com/shekel
I may have done the math incorrectly(never thought to do it before,lol) but I agree even if he is described as wearing 140+ pounds of stuff and still able to be jump around in battle while wearing it would make him way larger than the average human...
good point, I may be tall but I'm no hulk, his weight would have been been a big factor as well.

I wasn't going to post anymore in the thread(it was becoming inactive) but I noticed you marked my post as informative on my alerts..
I made a mistake in my post in that when I calculated the weight of the spearhead and coat of mail I used charts that converted shekels/pounds(money) without realizing it as showing value of money(shekel vrs. English pound) and not shekel weight vrs bronze/iron weight in pounds/oz.
In threads like these(giants) there seems to be a vacuum of silence of sorts. It's because I think that a good many have researched i Samuel 17 and realize that LXX, Dead sea Scrolls, Masoretic ect. and others all have different sizes(cubits) in the different interpretations. One has four cubits and a span another says six cubits and a span other later manuscripts seem to split the issue and say five cubits and a span. There's a lot of debate as to why this happened some say it was an intentional change others think the scribes believed otherwise based on how they were taught and so believed they were correcting a previous error made by another interpreter.
That said though the cubit/span information wont ever resolve the issue(one will choose the text that agrees with their position and disregard the others)... What catches my eye and I was trying to show is that although the cubit/span is different in each set of manuscripts the "weight value" of the coat of mail and the spear head is consistent. So if looking at the armor that an Egyptian,Israelite,Greek ect. would have worn in the bronze age and finding it's average weight then there would something to compare the weight of armor given in 1 Samuel 17 worn by Goliath. Each soldiers body armor was custom fitted to their body mass/size hence David could not move around in Saul's armor(too large too much weight) so he took it off. Anyway on average a bronze age warrior would have worn between 50-75 pounds of armor(smaller man's would be lighter/smaller and a larger mans larger and so weigh more) and so if the coat of mail(approx 125-150 lbs) and spearhead(approx 16lbs) were custom fitted to Goliath he is approx 2 to 3 times the weight size body mass of most other soldiers so approx. 10-12 feet tall approx 600lbs.. maybe a better machination could be more accurate than me by taking the average armor weight/average weight of a man and calculating the size of a man that would wear a 125 pound coat of mail in battle. In Deuteronomy,Numbers Og is described very similar in size(9-13 foot tall) and so to me(imo) based on the weight of Goliath's armor he was about the same size as Og. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Og
Your use of "demon" here is likely misguided. Scripture says, "the sons of God came to the daughters of men..."(Genesis 6:4); demons are not "sons of God".

My use of demons was in the form of a question. As far as sons of God, every living creature and angels included, good or bad are sons of God. Job 1:6, "There was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them."
