yeah I have...It wasn't microwave though,it was just out of a bag. It was good. I think it was white cheddar

LOL...I never was much into "pits"..I would rather bang my head & enjoy the music...actually,I'd rather be on stage playing than anything.
 
No cat I haven't. I've had the white chedda. I have had some garlicy herb type popcorn so maybe?
 
Yeah, if I'm in the crowd I can't help it. I used to just be full of pee and vinegar.
 
The best shows are like that Infest show I showed you where it's just packed and everyone in the front is up on the stage and just piling on each other and singing on the mic.
 
It's been almost 4 years since I've been to a show tore. Way too long really. Of course things aren't really the same. I would like to go to a good Christian show now though. Actually I'd go see like anything really.
 
I don't things would be the same at a Christian show. In my past experience at Christian rock shows it's not the same. And that's really good. For the most part a lot of people don't know what to do in a pit. Of course there is a difference also. The metal shows and these new hardcore kids with the kung fu pits get a little too aggressive. They don't just dance.

There was some huge christian music fest they used to have..dunno if it still goes on ,can't remember what it was called,but they used to have it every year in NY at a place called Darien Lake. It was like a big amusement park/camping ground etc.. There were some heavier christian bands playing & there were a few kids moshing,but most were just standing there. I found that most of the christian people who were there were just as obnoxious as at a secular concert minus the drugs & alcohol...but definite rudeness,swearing..etc.. great witness.
 
Yeah, it's odd. I started jamming with these two dudes in a Christian band for a minute a few months back. And second practice we were hanging after. All the sudden, F bombs were slipp'n out and it was just odd. So that was my first experience with a Christian band since being saved.
 
I mean I'm not perfect & I swear now & then,but I don't try to make it part of my vocabulary. I dunno..I felt like I was in some parallel universe at that christian event...it seems so fake. I didn't once feel encouraged or uplifted,it just made me sad. I did go to a thing called Promise Keeper's waaaaaaay back in the day with my Pastor & a few guys from our church..it was down in DC @ the old Washington Redskins stadium... that was a pretty cool time. Imagine...thousands of men just worshiping God...pretty wild!
 
Yeah, it's the people that make it what it is. If you have a bunch of kids form religious families going to a chirstian rock show cause it's where their parents will let them go and a lot of other misled people. I have a different feeling with Christian hardcore and punk, metal. But not everyone is that way. Often Christian rock is a penetration into the world of music in the secular realm. It attracts the ears of those who like it and it speaks to those who are searching for something. It's not like a service of dedicated believers. I've been to some small Christian rock shows at churches and it was different though.
 
Yeah I know..I think at that point too in my life,I was starting to get a bad taste in my mouth from some of the things I was seeing in the chrisitan community around me,so I was a bit more sensitive. It's really strange how you view things when yer' younger. You tend to take things more personal. I have always been a bit over sensitive....I'm not sure why. Maybe insecurity? I try to give that over to God,because I know it's not of Him,and all it does is make me introspective,and when Jim starts looking out for Jim,then it always leads to failure & pain eventually. My pride gets it's ugly head rearin'. I am hopefully learning to catch myself when I start trying to fall back into my old thinking. It's hard sometimes,after being married to someone for 9 years & basically living a spiritual lie of who you know you are. LOL..sounds so stupid & if yer' a Star Wars person,maybe you'll find the humor in this,but in Attack of the Clones...Anakin confesses to Padme that after he found his Mom & she died in his arms,he killed all the sand people...the women,the children,their animals..and he was heartbroken inside that he let his anger take over that way....he said "I'm a Jedi,I know I'm better than this." Well substitue Jedi with "Child of God",and that's how I felt..like I was killing myself off little by little spiritually.
Ok..so,now that I've really geeked myself out...let's discuss..bacon!
