This isn't to poke at the Sabbath. I don't care if a person has the Sabbath on a Sunday, Saturday, or Monday. Or even decides to mix it up each week. I posted this because my family is all doing some kind of work as I type this, while I was watching football. I don't understand how people use their days off just to do more work. I can understand that stuff needs to be done and sometimes our day off is the only time to do it, but this is every single time they have a day off. I don't understand it. I thought the Bible refers to actually resting when it talks of day of rest, not go and do more work.
Am I wrong? Are there folks on here that feel they always need to do stuff, and don't know how to take a day of rest? Also can't understand how people always talk about work when not working. Or folks that have work related dinners at their own homes. Isn't the whole point to separate the two? Just want everyone's thoughts about the day of rest, and what does it actually mean to you. Do you still do work on it?
