And satan is spirit. If God through satan at the earth, he would go right through it without causing any damage,, The earth is physical..
Jeremiah 4 begins at Genesis 1:2
Genesis 1:
2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep.
Jeremiah 4:
23 I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.
24 I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.
25 I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled.
26 I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD, and by his fierce anger.
Genesis 1:

Jeremiah 4:

Jeremiah claims there was once man, once birds, once it had cities, once it was a fruitful place, that was until the ANGER of God broke it down until the Earth was without form, void, and no light.
This is where God tossed Satan into it!
Now that is a stretch!
Not a single verse in Rev 6 matches Jeremiahs like it matches Genesis 1:2 to perfection!

After what we read in verses 23-26:
27 For so says the Lord: All the land shall be a desolation, but I will not make an end.
כזכִּי־כֹה֙ אָמַ֣ר יְהֹוָ֔ה שְׁמָמָ֥ה תִֽהְיֶ֖ה כָּל־הָאָ֑רֶץ וְכָלָ֖ה לֹ֥א אֶעֱשֶֽׂה:
God said, I will not make an END, meaning He chose to do the Creation we know with Adam.

Thats an assumption. Jut because it used the same term does not mean it was the same
The gap theory is false
There was no life before 1:3 if there was there was death, And since death was a result of sin, Therefore it states God punished the earth before there was even sin
In the Story of Noah, He instruct the Ark to first be built, but in Jeremiah, He just kills them off!

After Satan fell, then a way to the Messiah was needed.
That was made through Adam.
