I agree. It's like staring at a beautiful idea you never thought of before and wondering why hasn't this idea ever been mentioned in the mainstream. I heard the flat earth mentioned in history, where early Europeans believe people would fall off this edge of the earth, if they sailed to far. Flat earth has been discredited, but still mentioned. If Concave Hollow Earth was believed by one of the better astronomers and or scientist in history (Edmond Halley), why hasn't his ideas ever been talked about, or mentioned?
By the way, I tried to read his thesis on Concave Hollow Earth, and it's pretty difficult to read. Not sure if he had a bad type writer, or the English language changed over time, but it's a hard read. I wish someone would of translated it to the modern language and retyped it to make it much easier to follow. Not to mention adding commentary to it, to help bring understanding to it.
"Edmond[1] (or Edmund)[2] Halley FRS (/ˈhæli/;[3][4] 8 November [O.S. 29 October] 1656[a] – 25 January 1742 [O.S. 14 January 1742]) was an English astronomer, geophysicist, mathematician, meteorologist, and physicist. He was the second Astronomer Royal in Britain, succeeding John Flamsteed in 1720.
From an observatory he constructed on Saint Helena in 1676–77, Halley catalogued the southern celestial hemisphere and recorded a transit of Mercury across the Sun. He realised that a similar transit of Venus could be used to determine the distances between Earth, Venus, and the Sun. Upon his return to England, he was made a fellow of the Royal Society, and with the help of King Charles II, was granted a master's degree from Oxford.
Halley encouraged and helped fund the publication of Isaac Newton's influential Philosophiæ Naturalis Principia Mathematica (1687). From observations Halley made in September 1682, he used Newton's laws of motion to compute the periodicity of Halley's Comet in his 1705 Synopsis of the Astronomy of Comets. It was named after him upon its predicted return in 1758, which he did not live to see.
Beginning in 1698, Halley made sailing expeditions and made observations on the conditions of terrestrial magnetism. In 1718, he discovered the proper motion of the "fixed" stars."

So, I believe the Concave Hollow Earth Theory deserves a serious look. It may go against mainstream science, but so does the Creation story of Genesis.
Edmond Halley is one of the pioneers of the Concave Earth belief, he dedicated his life to science. He has a very interesting story, I think it would benefit people who are interested in science, to learn more about him.
A brief story of Edmond Halley from what I got from the net. Please don't take my word for it, since I didn't really fact check all this stuff. Edmond's dad was a successful business man selling soap and funded his son in his pursuits of science. I believe Halley's Comet was named after Edmond, he also funded Sir Isaac Newton, so his writings could be published and examined. Seems like a legit dude to me!
Edmon Halley was lead to believe that the earth is concave and hollow from his experiments. I'm sure there is more to his story, but that's a brief back ground on one of the pioneers of the Concave Earth Theory.

Just guessing here but the hypothesis is that we got a bunch of mice in there running around to keep the earth spinning and if we kill off the mice the world will stop spinning?
It's hard to take your question serious. Do you think mice keep the heliocentric model of earth spinning?

After watching the video, it gave me a possible view of what the concave hollow earth model would be like, by seeing the geocentric view. Only difference would be that all the heavenly bodies would be in the earth, rather outside of the earth, like an atom.

Those that put the sun in the center of the universe, instead of God are sadly mistaken. You can quote me on that.
We all live in the earth, so we see things from the earth, not from the sun. Our view point will always be from earth, not the sun. How can you have a view point from the sun, when no one has ever been there? It's science fiction to state the sun is the center of the universe, when no one has observed the universe from the sun's perspective.

Space travel is also faked (moon landing), because there is no way people can past the Van Allen Radiation Belts. Well, at least not the technology used in the 60's and 70's. NASA has admitted they accidentally destroyed their technology that got them to the moon, if you can find the moon landing hoax thread, the link is in there. By the way, I didn't work for NASA, and didn't accidentally destroy the technology that got Neil Armstrong to the moon. Just in case you might jump to conclusions again.
The realizaton of the Van Allen Radiation Belts by truthers, destroyed the mirage of such technology ever existed.
If you think that the moon, sun, and stars are moving in the concave hollow earth, things start making sense. Not sure this will help answer your questions, but it could lead to the answer your looking for.
Consult the science community as you plan. As a NASA astronaut who lived and worked in space, I know Earth is not flat, that we live in a highly interrelated and interdependent biosphere, that climate change is real. People so often speculate that if world leaders could see Earth from space like astronauts and cosmonauts do, everything would be different. I believe this is true. Please consider these thoughts from men and women who are among the few who have seen our planet from space.

Can you post a model, graphs, pictures, or someone kind of device to explain how see things? I must admit, your second effort for refuting the concave hollow earth model, is much improved over your first. Still lacking a ton of support, but much improved nonetheless.
Can you expand on your point with a visual model? I think your words don't give justice on your incredible insight.
Plus, I don't really understand your view point, because it's false in my mind. So, please elaborate on how truly amazing your horizon at sea hypothesis disproves the concave earth.(Information from earlier posts regarding your conclusions)

My dad had a plane and I would fly with him sometimes weekly throughout my childhood. I have no idea how many times I've flown. One thing I always noticed was how I was able to see the curve of the horizon. The earth is round...I've seen it perhaps hundreds of times.
