It is wise not to encourage those who are unrepentant. I hope this makes sense. You should nto be treated badly by any but this will occur, just as with our Savior.

Thank you. Where I had worked at before I retired this one lady would belittle me, I cannot tell you what all she said to me just to get a responce. This went on for about 9 years. She told me one time that the only reason she said what she said was to see what type of reaction I would give her. I am a peaceful person. I wanted to do my job & go home, but she made it almost impossible to do that. I never replied back for that is what she wanted, just to get something started. One day she started on me, a feeling came over me & I believe it was God. I took a step back& said God Take Over. He did & how. What she went through was almost as bad as her treatment to me. I had to change shifts to get away from her. She would work overtime just to harrass me. If I went upstairs on her they would not have done anything. You just have had to have been there to know what I'm talking about. The ladies on the new shift were her friends. I was picked on from them as well. I never said anything. One day, the lady was working overtime on our shift & started in on me. It was so bad that the ones that had taken her side physically stood up & got between her & me to protect me. God had His hand in that. But for that reason when someone says things to me, I leave it in Gods hands & don't worry about it. I let Him fight my battles & I've had so much peace in my life since then. Only God can do it. I pray for that lady, she needs to find God & peace in her life. Last I heard she was still doing the same thing to as many at work as she could. She is one that for some reason the office wouldn't disipline her.

This is more than a recounting of your personal experience with that person, for me at least, it is a most wonderful and gracious edification.
I put everything in the Lord's care, but oft time I fret a long while first. Now, to be more like you, and especially Jesus, I must keep in mind your gracious lesson here. God bless you always.

Murphys Law ...

This a good one

At last, confirmation of 'Murphy's Law' with a wonderful Irish explanation:
Murphy drops some buttered toast on the kitchen floor, and lo and behold …. it lands butter-side-up.
He looks on in astonishment, for he knows it's a law of the universe that buttered toast ALWAYS falls butter side

down. So, he rushes round to the Parish to fetch Father Flanagan. He tells the Priest that a miracle has occurred

in his kitchen. He won't say what it is but asks Fr. Flanagan to come and see it with his own eyes.
He leads Fr. Flanagan into the kitchen and asks him what he sees on the floor.
"Well," says he Priest, "it's pretty obvious. Someone has dropped some buttered toast on the floor and then for some
reason, they flipped it over so that the butter was on top.
“No, Father, I dropped it and it landed like that!" exclaimed Murphy.
"Oh, my Lord," says Fr. Flanagan, "Dropped toast never falls with the butter side up.
It's a miracle ... but wait ... it's not for me to say it's a miracle. I'll have to report this matter to the Bishop, and,
he'll have to deal with it. He'll send some people round to interview you, take photos, etc."
A thorough investigation is conducted, not only by the Archdiocese but by scientists sent over from the Curia in
Rome. No expense is spared.
There is great excitement in the town as everyone knows that a miracle will bring in much needed tourism revenue.
Then, after 8 long weeks and with great fanfare, the Bishop announces the final ruling.
"It is certain that some kind of an extraordinary event took place in Murphy's kitchen, quite outside the natural
laws of the universe. Yet the Holy See must be very cautious before ruling a miracle. All other explanations must be
ruled out."
"Unfortunately, in this case, it has been declared 'No Miracle', because they think . . .
Murphy may have buttered the toast on the wrong side!"

Bent over and obviously in pain, the old man with a cane hobbled laboriously through the sanctuary and into the pastor’s office while the choir was practicing.


Ten minutes later he came out, walking upright and moving with grace and speed.


“Good gracious,” the choir director exclaimed. “Did the pastor heal you by faith?”


“No,” the old man said with a smile. “He just gave me a cane that wasn’t six inches too short!”





During her sermon on Jesus’s teaching that we should love our enemies, the pastor asked the congregation to raise their hands if they had enemies. Everyone did so except for Mrs. Watson in the front row, who had just turned 95.

Apparently, Adam has gone 'walkabout' among all the souls.

It will take ages to find him. Holmes tracks down Adam, very quickly.

The Lord asks Holmes how he recognized Adam among the millions of souls, without ever having met him.

"Elementary, my dear God, he has no navel."


Q: Why did God create Adam before he created eve?

A: Because he didn't want anyone telling him how to make Adam.
