God does not accept sinners. You have a new identity in Christ if you have accepted Him
That is a red herring. No one here has said we earn salvation. We are given righteousness in Christ when we accept Him. We have absolutely no righteousness of our own
those with a faulty understanding of who we are in Christ might perceive it to be so. Like looking through a dirty window

Exactly and that is why we bow before and worship our Creator who has given us such perfect salvation because of His great love for us while we were lost and on our way to hell.
He redeemed us!
Paul knew he WAS a sinner, and no, your "fact" is not a fact.
Everyone that bakes is not a Baker. A sinner does not battle and strive against sin like the Christian does. A sinner does not have a repentant spirit. We are made new creatures in Christ when we become born again.
I know that this may sound like a play on words, but the insinuations and implications matter.

It is John addressing the church largely about fellowship. Also note the wording.
If WE say We have no sin then We are liars and the truth is not in US.
The truth is only in the christian.

Be honest about your sin. Becaise when we confess them to Jesus, He forgives. If we deny them they will be exposed and we brought to shame.
Yes, we all do. None of us are claiming perfection, but we identify as being in Christ and under the Blood. That is what Romans 7 is all about. We sin yet we are overcomers through the blood of Jesus.
Romans 7:25 Context
22For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: 23But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. 24O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? 25I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
That cannot be said of the sinner.
I would say that this applies to every man, woman, and child on the planet since Adam...
Except Jesus.

The truth isnt in unbelievers. So it doesnt apply to everyone. It only applies to those in whom the truth dwells.
Depends on what truth we are talking about...
Romans 1:20

That's true. But they also need to understand that coming to Jesus does not make them a non-sinner. Saved? Yes. Set apart? Yes. But everyone, including every Christian, still sins.
Maybe instead of trying to see this as Christian vs sinner, it should be seen as saved vs unsaved. Everyone sins, including saved Christians. Christians are saved sinners. Hopefully as we grow we'll sin less and less, but nobody will 100% stop sinning. And if you sin, you're a sinner.
Those that God gave to Jesus to redeem them from their sins (John 6:9) will never sin a sin that will keep them out of heaven, because their sins are forgiven, however, after they have been born again, they still carry the baggage of their sinful nature, and will at times commit sins, which will, temporary, separate them from God's fellowship until they repent.
Re the play on words, please see my previous post. Instead of seeing this as Christian vs sinner, see it as saved vs unsaved. All of us sin. That makes all of us sinners.
I think that the more a Christian matures, the more he'll realize how much he still does sin. A lot of the "big ones" he may have stopped, but those little sins keep cropping up, and sin is sin.

There is only one truth.
Let God be true and all men be liars.
The source of truth is God, inorder for the truth to be in us, the source of truth must be in us. Having the Holy Spirit of God is the only way for the truth to be in us.
Or they try to explain them in a way that aligns with their theology. To some extent, everyone does that..
Theology is fun.
That’s exactly right, and your three posts itemizing some of the things God has done for us through Christ is great. We are washed in the blood of Christ.
We are sinners who are declared righteous through Christ.
We are saved sinners.
