Going by the comment, "I think. Lol. Anyone out there??," this appears to be Live2B's same experience.
Which just means it only appears to be working minus the connection to other chatters who could go in at the same time but you will not be able to even see each other let alone chat.

You're about 2 years late to be asking. Also chatters and forum users are usually two different groups. Chatters really only come to the forums to report the chats being down, then don't return once they're back up. And most forum users avoid the chats.Hi Carbide! Why would you get banned?!?
Well I mean, you know how the name of the forum is ChristianChat? Well guess what, it actually happens to offer a christian...chat!
The thing is, I haven't been in the chats since 2018 when this site switched formats. I tried to download the new app but without success as that is one glitchy app.Well I mean, you know how the name of the forum is ChristianChat? Well guess what, it actually happens to offer a christian...chat!
There are two basic types on this site, the chat peeps and the forum peeps. Forum peeps rarely frequent the chats and the chat peeps rarely frequent the forums. I guess that I'm basically a hard-core forum peep. Even when the chat was available to me I hardly ever went. In my opinion the forums have the best on-going conversations in the various threads and give ample opportunity to see really see who the peeps are and what they are about.
I met my wife in the forums shortly after I joined in 2014 and we were married later on in the same year. You just never know who you are going to meet. Maybe you will spend some time in the forums and join us.

I just wonder if anyone tried to log into chat during the last couple of days to report that the forums were down and ask when they would be back up...

Chat was down first, then forum was also down; now forum is back up but chat is still down. So the answer is no.
Hmm yes, I likes the easy side of the chat; you just join and talk with who's there; also the mic can be a pleasant way to exchange with peoples.
But I must admit it does seems like the forum can be a pretty nice place to be around aswell; a different kind of exchanges I think.
Might stick around with both from now on.
And who knows? Maybe I'll get as lucky as you did; or maybe I will meet my wife on the chat? Hahaha. Who is to say?
