LOL do you really think that the Protestants on this forum are going to accept what you believe to be your church? No, but what they will do is accept your own personal faith in Christ and accept you on that level. I accept the Word of God and the Holy Spirit alone as the truth.

That is historically inaccurate as it was used within the Christian community first. Bishop Ignatius of Antioch (Who was Catholic) was the first to use the word. You really need to do your homework and read up on Church history instead of some ignorant Protestant preacher or writer.

lol I think your the first Catholic I have met on this forum? Look im sorry that some of us Protestants must according to our sincere beliefs, reject your church and its claim to our faith...but its no reason we cannot at least try to be polite to one another as individuals?
Actually they were called "The Way" and there was no pope.....just like protestants they didn't need a pope because they have Jesus.
That is because this site is for born again believers. I have been here a few years and seen many Catholics and other false Idol worshipers get banned from this site. We try to help, but sometimes they just insist in being the "One Catholic to change the mind of the Born Again....it never happens." They are usually gone in no time.

There are a bunch that have came in here very hateful, and trying to push their ways on us and end up getting banned.
But there are still a handful on here now that are very respectful, and debate in friendly manner on differences on opinions and have been here about as long as I have.
Not all Catholic's are hard core, you have to be catholic or not saved. Some do accept the other denominations as members of the true church, as the Catholic branches are slowly starting to break away finally from that false dogma.

Interesting! Its hard to relate to some catholics who seem unable to accept that the Reformers won the war... and people can read the bible now...but I will try to accept them in their personal faith in Christ and hope for some common ground in the truth.

The reformers may have won the war between Christian and Catholic, but the war between denominations still rages on as each one has been found to be in error in one point or another.
Even the bible says that nobody will have everything right until He comes again.
Again, the owner of this site is RoboOP he is a born again Christian who started this site for born again Christians. There may be nice Catholics, Mormons, or Jehovah's Witnesses on the internet, but I'm sure there is a site on the internet somewhere for them. The person who is Catholic who I was just speaking to insists on The True Church being the Vatican. We have young Christians that come in here that do not need to be reading such heresy. That is all I am saying on the matter because I have turned it over to a Robo-Op now and he will decide for himself. This is his site, and his thread called "Catholic Heresy" So let's let him make the call.

I am not disagreeing with you because I have seen those same Catholic's who have come in and done that.
What I was just saying was that there are some good Catholic's on here that don't do that, and I have talked to a couple of them just in the past couple days. The thing is we should pray for them and still show them love, for that is what our Lord said we are to do. If we show hatred back to them, we are no better than they are.

twould that it were true more fully. in the last century the rcc wolves have secretly on purpose sent their own to protestant and other seminaries to infiltrate and seduce all the flocks that they can. they go through and finish the school and 'become' ordained protestant or other 'ministers', then proceed to corrupt every congregation and every member that they can.
'ecumenical' 'acceptance' '~love!~' and many other devious forms of whitewashing and deceiving the people; it has already been done all across the usa, and most all the world wherever they could gain a foothold deceptively .
Where does the bible say that nobody will have everything right until He comes again? Read Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, Timothy, Thessalonians, Revelation, Acts, Matthew, John, and more that shows quite a different picture of the ekklesia set apart born again believers than what is seen in most all the churches today...

Yea we can miss some things and still be in a safe place with the gospel...but I think what we see in the case of the RCC goes beyond just some honest mistakes of doctrine and into a system of rebellion against the truth. Not to mentioned a system that has produced some of the most disturbing crimes in the history of man.

What truth's are you trying to say?
I was in the Catholic church for 5 years and took the RCIA classes, and I left only after five years because the Lord spoke to me through the Holy Spirit and showed me the truth in His word and I saw the fallacies they were teaching.
Some was good and from the bible, others were added things we don't need.

Yeah I know it mainly matters where your faith is at, and who your heart belongs to.
The Catholic church being the one true church.......that has been proven false even through history and biblical scripture
Christians whose true heart is for the Lord as the bible says are all members of the church, the bible does not say Catholic because that title came later by man.............TRUE
We only have one mediator between us and God, and that is the Lord Jesus Christ......TRUE
We don't have to go in confession to a priest to be forgiven of sins..............TRUE
We only have to go in prayer in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and ask forgiveness of them........TRUE
We don't have to do any extra penances for sin, just repent of them and ask forgiveness from the Lord....TRUE
And the list can go on......
