Did Those who later sought Jesus Christ not have spiritual salvation available in there life?
All of mankind have salvation offered to them. From birth to physical death.

2 Cor 6:2
For He says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

We cannot hinder His salvation to mankind.....The consequences are beyond our imaginations.

Agree! We are making progress. . . .
There are legitimate serious seekers and students and scholars here who by diligence find the truth. Furthermore, they make course corrections when found to be in error.

On the other hand, the trolls, hacks, wanna-bes, frauds and jokers enjoy none of these fine attributes.

It is exceedingly easy to see to which of these two groups you belong.

Yes only Jesus himself can save us for salvation is found in no one else anyone who denies this is likely a heretic
It's a subtle denial from the reformed/calvie/tulip folks. But it's easy peasy to spot with a little bible doctrine.

Their salvation is from a sovereign/determining/lottery (before the foundation of the world) pick. It has nothing to do with the life, death and resurrection of our savior Jesus Christ.

Ever since we got a hall monitor the 2 biggest violators of civilized discussion have disappeared.

Hmm. I thought that having been around since 2015 and being a senior member her violations would be grandfathered,
so I guess she is on voluntary hiatus rather than banned. Is Ruf the other one?

Probably due to her annoying and continual accusations towards @reneweddaybyday regarding posts on this thread only to find out it was a different thread and without merit ..... as were most, if not all of the accusations.

Ooops!! :ROFL::ROFL:

Speaking of attributes, most people on this site I can disagree with and still be friendly. But, you are like something lying along the side of the road that I would be most careful to step over. [think bubble gum]

"No @BillyBob , God DID NOT raise up Israel to save them and literally destroy everyone else."

So far no reply to this from you.
Please explain your position on this matter.

sometimes tho the bubble gum gets stuck to your foot and no matter what you do you can't shake it of, you end up having to remain stuck with it untill you pull it off.

It's like we just have to put up with nutty professors to, coz there extremely difficult in having there imagination stretched like bubble gum 🤐

Would you care to address this earlier inquiry that I made?
The board would like to correct the common and perpetual error of the Reformed crew regarding Romans 9...

However, men are unable to hear/believe/trust in God without being made new. So much for volition! They cannot turn because they are without hope.
But the good news is that God will show mercy to some. Those who are shown mercy are His elect.

For He says:
Has the potter no right over the clay, to make out of the same lump one vessel for honorable use and another for dishonorable use”? That decision was made long ago, even before we were born. This is taught in the story of Jacob and Esau, God favored Jacob just as He favored Israel over other nations.

@cv5 replies:
You don't know that what you are actually saying is that it was God who corrupted the pre flood the world?
Disseminating such folly has its reward. Best be prepared!

Jer 18:4
And the vessel that he made of clay H2563 was marred ➔H7843 in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.

Gen 6:11
The earth also was corrupt H7843 before God, and the earth was filled with violence.

Gen 6:12
And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; H7843 for all flesh had corrupted H7843 his way upon the earth.

The KJV translates Strong's H7843 in the following manner: destroy (96x), corrupt (22x), mar (7x), destroyer (3x), corrupters (2x), waster (2x), spoilers (2x), battered (1x), corruptly (1x), miscellaneous (11x).
Outline of Biblical Usage [?]
  1. to destroy, corrupt, go to ruin, decay
    1. (Niphal) to be marred, be spoiled, be corrupted, be corrupt, be injured, be ruined, be rotted
    2. (Piel)
      1. to spoil, ruin
      2. to pervert, corrupt, deal corruptly (morally)
    3. (Hiphil)
      1. to spoil, ruin, destroy
      2. to pervert, corrupt (morally)
      3. destroyer (participle)
    4. (Hophal) spoiled, ruined (participle)

See, we can agree on some things!

As far as I can see the only things we disagree on is you believe regeneration precedes belief and you think the soul (heart) is intrinsically corrupt whereas I believe one responds positively to the truth presented (believe) and is then regenerated and that the intrinsic corruption is in the body not the soul which, is why grace can free the soul momentarily while hearing the truth and reveal what people truly prefer, light or dark, without the body forcing them into the mold of corruption.

However, those two things make a world of difference in our understanding of God and man.

I am unfamiliar with the terminology, wondering if you could explain please. Does it mean ignored or something different?
grandfathered aka "exempt"
adjective LAW US
uk /ˈɡrænfɑːðəd/ us

an activity, person, group, etc. that is grandfathered is not covered by a new law because of a grandfather clause:
Current investors will be grandfathered so the old rules apply to their existing accounts.

Ooops!! :ROFL::ROFL:
that issue was resolved ... no need to re-hash ... unless Magenta wants to deal with it in the other thread (an option I left up to her).

I figured she is working on a youtube channel ... she had posted more than a few youtube links ... not sure how much time is involved in that endeavor ...
