It's true that God the father can eventually make a person repent đŸ™‚

But the sad reality is I believe that if they don't then the reason why they run scared when nobody follows them, is the father is no longer there offering a hedge of protection to them,

People do not flee when nobody is pursuing them for no good reason, when God says that they will flee and panic when nobody is pursuing, it means God had passed Judgment on them for being naughty monkeys,
if people don't repent, it's because they suppress the truth in unrighteousness when God reaches out to them to lead them to repentance.

How they know it was his star specifically? Did the star tell them he was to be born king of the Jews and to worship him?
as you pointed out earlier ... Daniel was in Babylon ... that was about 500 years before the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ ... Daniel was known to be a prophet of the Lord. Not sure if the Babylonian magicians, sorcerers or the Chaldeans would have read anything Daniel wrote ... they may have written in their own records. What we do know is that they were aware of the heavens and the movements of the planets.

What they saw in the heavens led them to travel to Jerusalem and then to Bethlehem where they presented Messiah with gifts.

.

So I guess the stars now reveal Christ and him crucified?
you didn't say the gospel ... you said Christ.

Christ is not revealed by the natural creation

Man just don't need to suppress it! Outstanding
 ... more of your nonsense ... just read what is written and quit suppressing the truth in unrighteousness ...

Romans 1:16-19

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

you wanna keep suppressing the truth in unrighteousness? ... have at it ... no excuse for those who suppress the truth ...

.

That's conjecture. It's simply what you have chosen to believe. You wrap it with consensus to make it more palatable.
nope ... that's what information is out there for those who are interested. If you're not interested, you're not interested. Your disinterest in the matter does not change the consensus from "consensus" to "conjecture" ... it's your choice to deem consensus "conjecture".

.

Your so called plan of salvation has no conditions remember... "god" creates those he had planned to save based on ???? .... and everyone else is shut out.
Right. Zero conditions apply to the pre-birth sovereign lottery. Obviously.

All of this absurd (and toxic) Calvinist rhetoric is therefore irrelevant and useless.

Evidently the reason for their protracted shrieking is the satisfaction that comes with gleeful gate slamming, damning and condemning those outside of their cloistered gnostic cult.

Consensus isn't proof. No matter how many people believe it to be correct, it remains conjecture without proof.

titus 3:5 is the start of regeneration,

Before regeneration it's a case of spiritual discernment from the father, which makes them aware of there spiritual state đŸ™‚

There is no start to regeneration you are either born or you are not. Jn.3:6

Sawdust, I have another question for you re your three children. When your children were small and frail and weak and vulnerable to the world around them and to themselves, for that matter, did you view them as being self-sustaining, self-self-sufficient and self-reliant and never in need of having your will imposed upon them?

Daniel was promoted to CHIEF of the "Magoi" , the elite senatorial scholar class.
One of the titles given to Daniel was Rab-mag, the Chief of the Magoi.

And yes Magoi is correct, Magi is not.

closed lid statement,

2 Peter 3:18 importance of spiritual growth

Ephesians 4:22-24 more regrowth a process of being transformed

Romans 8:6 more spiritual re-growth

1 Peter 2:1-3 is the the special scripture I've shown already đŸ™‚

have you ever heard of Zoroastrianism?

.
As to the identity of the Wise Men, the word that Matthew uses to describe them is Magoi. As we take this word over into a Persian setting, an amazing fact emerges. The Parthian Dynasty was ruled by something equivalent to our houses of Parliament. They called It the Megistanes. The Lower House members were called the Sophoi or ‘Wise Ones’: the Upper House members were called the Magoi or ‘Great Ones’. It was these Magoi, the king makers of their empire, that come to visit Jesus. It was not the astrologers – It was the politicians – and there were more then 3, even if only three types of gift were given.

This delegation of Rulers from Persia penetrated 750 km into Roman territory. They would be escorted by their crack cavalry units that consistently won out against the Romans. These Persians were the finest equestrians in the world.

They always rode horses as their means of transport – camels were only used for baggage. Consequently, it was no wonder that Herod was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. He had a small army from a foreign power at the gates of Jerusalem. And at a very inconvenient time too. Herod’s garrison that normally protected Jerusalem was away helping fight the Homonadensian War. Jerusalem was virtually undefended. Furthermore, the news was not good. These Magoi proclaimed the birth of a contender for Herod’s throne. Indeed, they had come to support this child-king, and their army was there to back them.
