Thanks for letting me know that.

Ephesians2-1-3s.png

Ephesians 2 v 1-3 You were dead in your trespasses and sins, in which you used to walk when you conformed to the ways of this world and of the ruler of the power of the air, the spirit who is now at work in the sons of disobedience. All of us also lived among them at one time, fulfilling the cravings of our flesh and indulging its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature children of wrath.

Not something you choose.

It is actually explicitly articulated that it is not by the will of the flesh, or the will of man, but by God's will.

Made alive while we were yet dead. Dead in our trespasses and sins.

1-Corinthians4-7b-John3-27-Romans9-15-16s.png

1 Corinthians 4 verse 7b; John 3 verse 27; Romans 9 verses 15-16 ~ What do you have that you did not receive? And if you did also receive it, why do you boast as not having received it? John replied, "A man can receive only that which is given him from heaven." "I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion." So then, it does not depend on man's desire or effort, but on God's mercy.
We Witness/Evangelise, in order to try to bring people to Christ, hoping that they will CHOOSE to be BORN AGAIN.

Ephesians2-4-7s.png

Ephesians 2 v 4-7 ~ Because of His great love for us, God, Who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in our trespasses. It is by grace you have been saved! And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages He might display the surpassing riches of His grace, demonstrated by His kindness to us in Christ Jesus. :)

Last one from me tonight:
--------------------------------------------------

I am from Norway, Northern Europe. Up here we are pretty liberal as you might know.
Now personally, I respect that you have your religion. If you do believe in God; no problem for me. Go on.

Maybe more interesting, and of more consequences, is your political opinion; that is, who you vote for, and what political party you support. Why is that more interesting? Obviously: Beacause that has implications of the society. I could pose a lot of examples, but I choose to do not so just now.

Nevertheless, whatever religion or politics we support, do not forget to be a decent human being. Respect and love you fellow human being, always. I believe that is a christian doctrine, originated from Jesus himself.

I wish you all a pleasant and a good and fruitful day. As we say in Norway:

"Berre den som vandrar, finn nye vegar."

Meaning:
Only the one wandering, can find new paths to follow."

Matthew 7 v 13 plus Romans 8 v 13 Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. For if you live according to the flesh, you will die, but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live

Ecclesiastes 12 v 6-7 Remember Him before the silver cord is snapped and the golden bowl is
crushed, before the pitcher is shattered at the spring and the wheel is broken at the well, before the dust returns to the ground from which it came and the spirit returns to God Who gave it.

Pretenses ?! I don't think you have a very good grasp of the English language, sweetie!
Yes, pretenses. You pretend to know me, because you are dishonest and pretentious
to the extent of delusionally believing you can dictate my testimony to me.

I wonder what your previous user name was.

@OLDBUTNEW, you and @Magenta are fighting like an old married couple 😆

I’ve never been married, but sparring with @Magenta on here is probably the closest thing today that I’ll get to knowing what it’s like to have a hubby/wifey disagreement 😂😂

At least we both like apple pie!!
