We know the Angel told Zachariah he would have a son who would do work for God. So John was on a specific mission which was to announce the way of Jesus. So he would definitely be saved from conception because he was specifically prophesied.
Show me the biblical proof of this. You're reading into scripture what isn't there.
You was not prophesied to your dad by an Angel so you and myself would never be like the situation surrounding John.
Nowhere in scripture does it say someone in saved from conception based on a prophecy.
But you know this and just being deceptive.
You are the one being deceptive. You asked for ONE scripture showing the Holy Spirit on someone before belief. I gave you one and now you're twisting trying to come up with a reason for it. No sale.

You miss meme are a calvinist that denys it. So who is the liar?
I take it you are only interested in interrogating me and not answering any of my questions.

However, if you have not been called out of the world, you have no business calling yourself a Christian.

I believe the moment you Repent like the Bible says then you are Regenerated [which is saved because you are filled with the Holy Ghost].

True repentance comes from God and manifests within those He saves. It is not from/by man but is reflected in those saved.

[Act 11:18 KJV] 18 When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

[Rom 2:4 KJV] 4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

[2Ti 2:25 KJV] 25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

Were you chosen before the foundation of the universe? A yes or no will suffice. I wont hold my breath.

I am not a Calvinist. Tell me which of these Scripture verses you answer yes to. All?

What Say You? ~ When Scripture says there are none good, does it mean some are good? When Scripture says we all fall short, does it mean there are some who meet God's standards? When Scripture says, "The natural man does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned..." Does it mean the natural man can understand the spiritual things of God? Does it mean he really can understand the gospel message even though it is heard as foolishness to him as Scriptures say? Is the natural man gifted with wisdom even though he has no fear of God, which is the beginning of wisdom? Will the lover of darkness come into the light even though Scripture says he will not, because he suppresses the truth of God in unrighteousness and is actually defined as darkness itself, hates the light, and is a slave to sin, blinded to the truth and captive to the will of the devil, which many define as being free? Is the heart of the natural man, the stony ground which needs to be replaced, fit for receiving and growing the Seed of God's Word into faith? Will that incurably wicked heart choose of its own accord to believe? Will that bad tree bring forth the good fruit of faith even though Jesus said it was not possible?

According to our brilliant Gr. scholar Studier, the "foundational gospel" -- the raw, basic gospel -- does not originate with the Spirit of God. Only "advanced" spiritual truth comes from the Spirit. This means the "natural man" definitely knows, understands, appreciates and loves the "foundational gospel" -- just not the "advanced" version so much.

I am still waiting for the answers to questions asked yesterday...

All things in good order, not according to your lies and deceit.

Yes, mister studier "let's-strip-words-of-their-main-and-plain-meaning-to-demolish-the-truth-of-Scripture" never rests from that quest.

I have been here quite a while, and the most STARTLING phenomenon that I notice as regards you and some/most/all of your crew is.....

ZERO growth, zero enhancement, zero progress, zero upgrades, zero advancement.
All of you remain flatliners. Its truly pathetic. You literally sound and say EXACTLY the same as 7 years ago.
Same goes for @Cameron143 . Its like he is in a Twilight Zone time loop perpetual rewind. Like word for word copy and paste for 7 long tedious years.

On the other hand, I have learned TREMENDOUS quantities Biblical truths that left me breathless, stunned, shocked, amazed and joyful.
But then again, I persisted in SEEKING these pearls and FINDING treasures hidden in fields by persistent merchandising and breaking new ground. Rather than malingering in brackish backwater congregations that were obviously going nowhere, in clueless soundbite dogmatism, in fake it whoops you won't make it Churches who wouldn't dare break tradition or set the slaves free.

For example, the devastating TRUTH about Genesis 3 first and foremost.
And more sundry truths such as: the skull of Gol of Gath (Goliath) was buried by David at a place called GOLGATHA aka "place of the skull".
And the ASTOUNDING truth of the record of 1 Kings 13, and its relationship to Genesis 3, Psalm 22, the first and second coming and so much more. The epic story of the Gibeonites. The TRUE MEANING of Psalm 22-23-24. And on it goes.

Of course, the HUNDREDS if not THOUSANDS of hours of non-stop PhD level lectures tend to enhance a person.
And to these commentators I owe and unpayable debt of gratitude.
The Lord is working mightily to save to this very present day never doubt it.

You allegedly have so many thousands of hours of "learning", yet so little to show for it.

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Are you trying to wear me out? Or are you one of those elected to learn over the past 7 years?

Also, you still haven't answered my question: why haven't you said anything to those who deny the depravity of man that requires God to stifle the flesh and believe this is not required for salvation?

Genez's idea of "total depravity" is that Adam since bruised his knee slightly when he Fell. This applies to his progeny as well.

Is this similar to the Roman Catholic doctrine of "Immaculate Conception?"

That is one of their two ex cathedra dogmas... meaning, mandated for the Catholic to believe.

If you think about it, it is actually closely tied to the other one of the two, the Assumption of Mary.

Since why would she die if she had no sin? Except of course none of it is Biblical and cannot be supported with Scripture either.

You might think if the RCC were to make anything mandatory to believe it would have to do with Jesus...

But, nope. Their idolatry does not allow for that.

Very much in the same way the idolatry of FWers despises God's sovereignty.

You missed the latest "natural man" lecture provided by @studier?

Pity that you ignored this fine example of "advanced" study of the text and it's intended meaning.

It pretty much quashes every determinist pretention on the matter of "natural man" there ever was.....:sneaky:

He was saved from your wild imaginings like the one below.. ;)

What I said was: which means I didn't breathe in the womb. A living soul is one who breathes.

"Developing babies need oxygen beginning early in pregnancy. Babies don’t truly breathe in the womb. Instead, the umbilical cord provides the baby with oxygen until the first breath after birth."

taken from this site: https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/318993

So...you consider yourself to have been LIFELESS in the womb. You sound like a pro-abortion lover. They, too, consider the embryo to be lifeless meat.
