You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.

And what I should have included in my prior post to you was that, no, we do NOT make God a liar, instead, we confirm His doctrine as it was His intention that the verse be applicable to only a certain specific group of people but not everyone: those whom He chose from before the foundation of the world that THEY would and must seek and find Him.

It is your failure in understanding how grace can function that makes you unable to stop being inflexible and rigid in your thinking.
Naturally born man is body and soul. It's the soul from whence the depravity comes.

So...does that make the heart of man whiter and purer than the driven snow?

How one can tell when over the target (as they say).

That's easy! The same way I can tell when one can't find his rear end even though both his hands are ducked taped to it.

But our recent exchange was informative, for now I know that you think the whole world is humble and that your DEI/EOE god pours his grace out upon all without and hesitation or reservation or regrets.

And I showed you what God told the Prophet to tell to man. So if what you claim doesn't align to what God told the Prophet then something is wrong.

Absolutely, 😂

On what bases could they could still seek him, just for anything,

Maybe what you thinking is that people are suggesting mankind was completely unable to use any intelligence, which would be moving the goal posts

Hey, don't knock "success". In the world of FWers that proves that even those false disciples in John 6 who freely sought out Christ with evil, ulterior motives proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that they exercised their "freewill".

Well cant say that I have, but errr even the dogs get the crumbs from under the table 😂

I am merely saying that if God tells man to seek Him but man doesn't have the ability then that makes God a liar. But we know God never lies. It's impossible for God to lie. So that means if God tells man he can do something then he can do it.

In this discussion we have 2 sides. 1 claims God said man can seek Him and 1 says man cannot seek God. I believe we should always choose to believe what God Himself directly says even if other writers read as though their written words contradict that.

No! It does not make God a liar; for He is telling man what his DUTY is! God commanded Israel over and over again to keep his entire law always under all circumstances? That was their duty under the bilateral Mosaic Covenant. But how did that work out for the apostate, covenant-breaking people of God?

Or Jesus told the woman allegedly caught in adultery to go sin no more. Do you really think she was able to perfectly obey that command?

Deism suggests that God created everything and put it in motion, and then stepped back and just watches things happen. That's not biblical.

And there are several closet deists on this thread who believes God does just that when it comes to spiritual matters. At that point, God becomes a passive spectator when it comes to salvation.

[[/QUOTE] well just a nuç 2ti
Oh, I have misunderstood then. So you believe man can seek God but once man finds God he doesn't always obey? Yeah, not a single Christian ever can say they obeyed God 100% 24\7\365 for their entire Christian life.
Hey where all seeking bro.

Just err I wondered if there's a difference between having the nature to disobey as possibly a part of the law of nature.

Really?

[Jhn 12:37-40 KJV]
37 But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him:
38 That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed?
39 Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again,
40 He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with [their] eyes, nor understand with [their] heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.

[Mat 13:15-16 KJV]
15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and [their] ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with [their] eyes, and hear with [their] ears, and should understand with [their] heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
16 But blessed [are] your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

“And when they ( Jews ) agreed not among themselves, they departed, after that Paul had spoken one word, Well spake the Holy Ghost by Esaias the prophet unto our fathers, saying, Go unto this people, and say, Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; And seeing ye shall see, and not perceive: For the heart of this people is waxed gross, And their ears are dull of hearing, And their eyes have they closed; Lest they should see with their eyes, And hear with their ears, And understand with their heart, And should be converted, And I should heal them.

Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it.

And Paul dwelt two whole years in his own hired house, and received all that came in unto him, preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭28:25-28, 30-31‬ ‭KJV‬‬

jews were made blind and deaf because of thier constant rebellion for generations it’s part of the Old Testament corse for breaking rhier covenant . Gentiles ( all other people ) have never been made deaf and blind so they couldn’t hear …..Israel didnt start our like that either they rebelled and became that way as people do.

“Now what I am commanding you today is not too difficult for you or beyond your reach. It is not up in heaven, so that you have to ask, “Who will ascend into heaven to get it and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?” Nor is it beyond the sea, so that you have to ask, “Who will cross the sea to get it and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?” No, the word is very near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart so you may obey it.”
‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭30:11-14‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Thier constant rebellion against him brought it all to this …

“And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.

Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate, and the LORD have removed men far away, and there be a great forsaking in the midst of the land.

But yet in it shall be a tenth, and it shall return, and shall be eaten: as a teil tree, and as an oak, whose substance is in them, when they cast their leaves: so the holy seed shall be the substance thereof.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭6:9-13‬ ‭

some of you never know the roots of what your talking about in the ot

Yes, it is their duty as Natural Man and they are able to do it because God would not instruct something that cannot be done.
