Aaahhmmmm no. I mean TOTALLY NO.There we have it, folks, right from the horse's mouth. Salvation at the end of the day is all about Mankind and his response.
And for your info, those who reject do so because God rejected them. Conversely, those who accept do do because God accepted them before the beginning of time. How the dead unbelievers reject is due to lack of spiritual life within them. God is dead to the dead! Simple concept to understand...
There we have it folks. The Calvinists totally forgot why David became the greatest king of all time. There we have it, folks, right from the horse's mouth. Salvation at the end of the day is all about Mankind and his response.

rolleyes ... give it a rest, Rufus ... even in your own words you acknowledge "those who accept" ... which only goes to corroborate what I stated ... that under your dogma, "God only "draws" certain folks who God then causes to believe"There we have it, folks, right from the horse's mouth. right ... which is why I asked about the stony heart ... could that be what remained after Adam sinned ?I find it difficult to go along with man's spirit died, which I was taught, since there are so many verses that speak of man's spirit seemingly remaining an issue and verses like Gen5:3 in regard to Adam parenting a son in his image and likeness (IOW whatever Adam's spirit is procreation could well be passing it on). Some say the human spirit was damaged. Some say the issue is separation. Some split image and likeness and say different things about each.
James 3:8-10 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God. Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.studier said:As I said above re: God's image and likeness, I'd have to see this refined based upon Scripture like James3:9 which does only speak of likeness but such things at times just point us back to the whole statement in the Hebrew Scriptures.
Let me try and help you out Rufus. The NIV renders the text, "Blessed are those...". And this doesn't change the sense of what is being said. God has always had THOSE "7,000 who have never bowed the knee to Baal", don't you know? Such are called His remnant, for your info.
exactly ... and instead of rejoicing in the great blessing God bestowed upon this family, some prefer to argue incessantly about what is not in the record than rejoice in the blessing ... smh ...Not only that, by doing so it is clear that his family HELD ON to the promises given to Abraham by FAITH. This as a result of their desire, their volition, their WILLFUL INTENTION.
In other words they WILLED to do God's WILL. Their wills aligned to this purpose. By which great things happened. Without which NONE of it would have.
Its all a bunch unbiblical hoaxing and humbuggery, blatherskite and baloney this super-determinism.rolleyes ... give it a rest, Rufus ... even in your own words you acknowledge "those who accept" ... which only goes to corroborate what I stated ... that under your dogma, "God only "draws" certain folks who God then causes to believe"
so we all get the "simple concept to understand" ... some just do not agree with your "concept".
.
worth repeating ...unbiblical hoaxing and humbuggery, blatherskite and baloney
So lets get this straight @Magenta :![]()
John 3 verse 6, Romans 8 verse 7, Galatians 5 verse 17, 2 Timothy 3 verse 13, Romans 3 verse 18 ~ Flesh is born of flesh, but spirit is born of the Spirit. The mind of the flesh is hostile to God: It does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. The flesh craves what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are opposed to each other. Evil men and imposters go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. There is no fear of God before their eyes.
Is the Lake of Fire eternal?
Why are people cast into the Lake of Fire?Does it end? Christ's suffering ended. The lake of fire does not.
My Passage of Scripture proves that God did something to make Moses notice.
reneweddaybyday said:
man was no longer in the image and likeness of God.
Gen 2:17 tells us in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die (or dying you shall die).
what do you think happened at the fall?
My Passage of Scripture proves that God did something to make Moses notice.
That is God choosing Moses.
My Passage of Scripture also proves that after God chose Moses God allowed Moses to make a decision on what he wanted to do. It's why the Verse specifies Moses said to himself, I will turn aside now, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.
Moses said, I WILL which is FREE WILL!
This is how God works with ALL OF US!
Even Romans 1 tells us that God first manifested Himself to them. Then Romans 1 tells us that those He manifested Himself to refused\rejected God because they have FREE WILL to do so. Romans 1 also tells us that God eventually gave them a REPROBATE MIND.
That is how God works and how the Bible should be interpreted.
