Very true. Now watch MagentaBot respond again with referencing the same verses already addresed many times.

Why would God ask people to SEEK after Him, why would God reward those that dilligently seek HIm, IF NO ONE can do it unless He enables them? He is infact rewarding something He himself does.

God is at war with his own decree in calvinism. The schizophrenic two wills of God
"Seek. Press into. Ask. Knock. Come. Take."

[2Ki 6:5 KJV]
But as one was felling a beam, the axe head fell into the water (an invaluable item that was lost in the Jordan river ***the river of sin and death that starts at Adam and ends at the dead sea***) : and he cried, and said, Alas, master! for it was borrowed.

[2Ki 6:6 KJV]
And the man of God said, Where fell it? And he shewed him the place. And he cut down a stick (THE BRANCH), and cast [it] in thither; and the iron did swim.

[2Ki 6:7 KJV]
Therefore said (commanded) he (the man of God ***the God-man***), Take [it] up to thee. And he put out his hand, and took it.

[Jos 3:16 KJV]
That the waters which came down from above stood [and] rose up upon an heap very far from the city Adam, that [is] beside Zaretan: and those that came down toward the sea of the plain, [even] the salt sea, failed, [and] were cut off: and the people passed over right against Jericho.

****************************************************************************************************************

[Rev 21:6 KJV]
And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

[Rev 22:17 KJV]
And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

Yes. Some treat it like choosing what colour of socks to wear has some bearing on the eternal fate of one's soul.
Aaaahhhhmmmm.....no. These people here are not choosing socks. They are choosing Life.

[Mat 9:27 KJV]
And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, [Thou] Son of David, have mercy on us.

[Mat 15:22 KJV]
And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, [thou] Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.

[Mat 17:15 KJV]
Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatick, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water.

[Mat 20:30 KJV]
And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, [thou] Son of David.

[Mat 20:31 KJV]
And the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold their peace: but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, [thou] Son of David.

Romans 9 verse 18; John 6 verse 44; John 6 verse 65; John 6 verse 37; John 6 verse63; Titus 3 verse5 ~ God has mercy on whom He wants to have mercy, and He hardens whom He wants to harden. No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted him by the Father. All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out. The Spirit gives life; the flesh profits nothing. He saved us because of His mercy, through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit.

These are undeniably obvious free will acts in the Bible but will definitely be swept under the rug and hidden to continue their life where they claim it's all God so i can live however i want because they're not accountable for anything.

Because God is Light and there is no darkness in Him, which I suppose kinda makes man entirely different from his Creator and at odds with Him?

P.S.
Plus the fact that dead don't have very good eyesight and so everything in their spiritual world can only be darkness. :coffee:

Are you asking me a question?

Yes, I would say the easy part is the distinction between darkness and light.

Do you think it has anything to do with Eph5:6-7? And tying this back to Eph2? And to the sister-book to Ephesians - Colossians in Col3?

If God gives a person the ability to understand that in order to get to Heaven they need God..

Which the majority of the Verses being used by both sides are stating.

How does that = that person is a believer?

Nothing in those verses say they always become believers.

But one side thinks if God makes you understand you need God that no matter what you will become a believer because God can't fail.

But there's no Verses that claim everyone who God makes understand ends up being Saved.

Where did that Idealism originate from?

There are unbelievers whom God makes it understood, and they dig in their heels and resist by creating lies about the Truth!

The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness
and wickedness of men, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what
may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them.
For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and
divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made,
so that people are without excuse.
For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him,
but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.
Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools
Romans 1:18-22

It would make a lot of the bible nonsensical if this for instance was a false reality God is giving them

“I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:”
‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭30:19‬ ‭

why would he just tell them they weren’t capable of understanding him ? Instead he explained that his word wasn’t beyond tbier ability to hear and indersrsnd that it was given to them and put in thier heart so that they could obey it .

“For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off. It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?

But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.

See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;”
‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭30:11-15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Show me on this doll where the TULIP hurt you.
No need to keep score buddy. We all know how this ends.....

[Heb 1:13 KJV]
But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?

[Heb 10:13 KJV]
From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.

All the lies on this thread come from you and your ilk. I just call everyone out on them as I see them.

Here's your translation of Ephesians 4:11.

"And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some gang leader- bosses"

........ that is how you come across!

The Holy Spirit is good at showing us the big picture but nowhere is there either an example or assumption that everyone God makes understand actually obeys God and becomes Saved.

So why say something that God doesn't say?

Are there any biblical examples where God gave understanding to someone and they didn't believe?

So you equate Jesus' self-denial of function as Him also denying his very essence (the incarnation)?

In your mind, I do.

In my mind? I have no way to know how you have been indoctrinated, to see how you concluded what you do.

That is why I asked what denomination you grew in.
But, you refused to let us know what denomination it is.

That and more in Rom1 is really elaborated language for these opposers to human will to be setting aside.

I would actually get banned from this forum if I were to honestly tell you how you come across!

I keep hearing bad trees cannot bring forth good fruit. Completely agree. But the fruits of repentance start the second after you repent not before. So how do you know you need to repent if your heart is still wicked?

Then learn how to express yourself more coherently.

And don't lose any sleep over my church affiliations (past or present) since I came by the Doctrines of Grace honestly on my own before I even knew who Calvin was or what he taught. But...when I found out, I rejoiced in the Lord that Calvin agreed with me. :coffee:

Maybe your premise is all wet. Prayerfully meditate for several days on 1Pet 1:2; 2Thes 2:13.

I keep wondering where "metanoia" is defined a producing good fruit in scripture?

Here's my question to that how do 2 people who come to thier own conclusions about grace and what processes come to make you being saved be completely opposite? I do have a church I go to as well but for 5 years I did not. When I was first saved. I just read the Bible and tried to learn what I could. Now today I read about different reformers and I realized I agree with John Wesley the most.
