So is AI:

Not all churches identifying as "Reformed" uniformly believe in or adhere to all five points of TULIP (Total Depravity, Unconditional Election, Limited Atonement, Irresistible Grace, Perseverance of the Saints). While TULIP represents the "Doctrines of Grace" (or Calvinist soteriology) often associated with Reformed theology, some within the tradition may have varying interpretations, particularly regarding Limited Atonement, or may favor different emphases.

Key details regarding the adoption of TULIP:
  • Definition: TULIP was developed at the Synod of Dort (1618-1619) as a response to Arminianism, not necessarily as a summary of all Reformed theology.
  • Variations: Some "Reformed" Christians, particularly in broader evangelical circles, may accept some points but not all, or may prefer alternate, broader frameworks.
  • "Calvinist" vs. "Reformed": While all who adhere strictly to TULIP are generally considered Calvinists, not all who identify with the broader "Reformed" tradition (which often includes covenant theology, paedo-baptism, and specific ecclesiology) adopt all five points of TULIP with equal rigor.
  • Distinctions: Many, particularly in modern contexts, may accept points like Total Depravity and Perseverance, while holding different views on the scope of atonement.
Therefore, while TULIP is a defining feature of orthodox Calvinist theology within the Reformed tradition, its interpretation and acceptance are not absolute across every single church self-identifying as Reformed.

Free will is simply the option or the capacity to disobey God's will. The word free will exist because God's will exist. It means you are free to do your will or God's will and also in a general sense you are free to do whatever you will. You can't debate or explain free will outside of the context of God's will and your will. That's why conversation gets lost. Amen.

Amen, and God's requirement for salvation (GRFS) is aligning one's will with His or cooperating with His Word/Spirit,
which per the NT is to believe/accept Jesus as Messiah and Lord.

You cannot debate the existence of a thing that can, does and must exist.
And is observable and experiential each and every waking moment.

All backed up by the fact of innumerable biblical proofs.

does that include the last breath for evil people to, do you decide that to ? Do you get to decide you can wait until your last breath, that's a dangerous game to play mate.

What exactly did the thief steal ? Did he steal back what was stolen from him ?

Was he a thief or was he another person falsely accused like Jesus.
Thief on the cross......that was his last breath. And he was going to paradise.

2 Cor 6:2
For He says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

As long as you breath and can read this verse..........TODAY is the day of salvation.

Its still biggest falsehood in there is! or one of them, the other is God loves everyone
He loves you though, right? You have Gods EXCLUSIVE love.

Or maybe you just "feel" that way.

Always funny to hear the calvies have the market cornered on His love.

No security there, just a chance.

It appears that the subject of tongues is not very well understood by some. Tongues are not babblings of noises; They are known languages ! IF One perceives Them, as babblings; They are in error! Choosing to use babblings in place of a known language is an error. language is an error. Demons may use babblings, indeed. How can that which is spoken
We have His word, translated in about every known language.

No need for tongues, unless we think His word is not enough.

If all of us would put our 2 brain cells to work.....None would disagree!

And so very essential in His plan for us. The Angelic conflict is being decided and WILL BE WON by the freewill of mankind.(by all that He has FREELY provided for us.)

Those who think otherwise, will be the LOSERS in the ultimate war. Saved, as if through fire.

The thief on the cross was like thousands upon thousands of people crucified, and lots of them where crucified for having faith,

And many people who also Disobeyed God, where also still walking with God, now the thief on the cross does not mean he never had a relationship ship with God up until his last breath.

Where as you make that scripture sound as if the thief never had any relationship with God until his last breath, and you make out he was saved on his last breath. The only people who went to paradise ie Abraham's bosom, where whom God the father allowed based on there whole life,

THe thief said to Jesus remember me when your in your kingdom. So obviously the thief must have believed in Jesus already, and already had some kind of faith.

So I'm sorry to have to tell you but your in error to say you can wait until your last breath, because you can't and most people who don't have faith as they grow up, just grow up a bitter old prune.

You are a piece of work Jordan. Hope and pray the Lord Jesus Christ works on you. Obviously sound Bible doctrine on this forum doesn't.

You have made me change my Equal privilege and equal opportunity statement.....Because obviously you DO NOT get it.

Equal privilege(Salvation is offered to all) equal opportunity( from birth to death all can believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.)

Sad, so very sad that we have believers who fight and antagonize this wonderful truth!!

I guess you don't like the truth just fire back with an insult,

Not exactly sharing the gospel that is it. I've lost count of how many truths youve denied tonight, and if I'm not mistaken the gospel is about accepting the truth.

That's what you need to do before you share it pal

Do know that the story of Adam and Eve is very old, and was handed down by word, from person to person generation to generation before it was recorded.
" All scripture is given BY INSPIRATION OF GOD ( or God breathed ), and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: " 11 Timothy 3:16. Moses wrote, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, the account of Adam and Eve. This isn't an old wives tale, unless you don't believe that the Bible is God's Word.

Well, just in case all Reformed are not tulipists, I want to be sure they know my only beef is with those who deny MFW.
I also try to make it clear that I only want to discuss the doctrine of tulipism without attacking or arguing with tulipists,
which is a fine line, I realize, but I want to compare beliefs, not engage in ad hominem insults.
MFW? My Fine Widgets?

Give me a post that you shared the Gospel.

The calvies have elect, predestined, chosen, Sovereignty and exclusive love.

Nary a word of the Crucified Christ.
Your like a jack in box you, you just keep springing one insinuation after the next, it feels like I'm talking to somebody with daylight between the ears to you.

We haven't share the gospel as got to be the biggest understatement I've heard here, in fact probably the dumbest one.
