Do you think he's stuck on stupid or suffering from acute CDS...or maybe both?
FWers just lurve their logical fallacies... and it is not beneath them to misrepresent the man they love to hate, either.

As if logical fallacies and lies justify all their rejection, contradictions, and denials of what Scripture explicitly articulates.

We know it does not. But they hide behind that beard...

Romans8-5-9.gif

Romans 8 v 5-9Those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh; but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. The mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace, because the mind of the flesh is hostile to God: It does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. Those controlled by the flesh cannot please God. You, however, are controlled not by the flesh, but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ.

You don't seem bothered by your own nature and disposition to ceaselessly dispense venomous diatribes upon the supposedly unsaved and pronounce doom upon every Tom, Dick and Harry much either......

1Th 3:12
And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you:
Weren't you the one complaining about the mortality police. Wonder why your buddies didn't critique your hypocrisy.

Would me wishing you a good night count? :)
well I said there was some regeneration before people where filled with the holy spirit in the bible at the start of the thread, based on his people he was redeeming with his mighty hand,..whilst he put his affection on them, and also his mercy

They showed mercy to

Which means mercy is the enabling firstly grace is the empowerment, well at least in my view

Calvinism’s god doesn’t desire salvation for all men. Their god has people be born with a reprobate mind. Their god handpicks who will respond and who will not, without any choice of the individual. Their god is irresistibly and does not give people the freedom or will to genuinely be able to choose.

God desired salvation for all men.
The evidence for that is how Jesus died for the sins of the entire world.
God no longer desires salvation for all men because He knows better.
But, He found a way to not know how men would choose before creating them.

That way was revealed to us in the Incarnation.
For Jesus needed to make himself become as a man in his function.
He had to do so perfectly in order to die in our place.

Who, eternally existing in the form of God,
did not consider being equal with God something to be grasped,
but emptied himself
by taking the form of a slave,
by becoming in the likeness of people.
And being found in appearance like a man,
he humbled himself
by becoming obedient to the point of death,
that is, death on a cross.
Philippians 2:6-8

The Lord God of Israel who made himself to become Jesus has the capacity to make himself become as a man.
To make himself to function and think like a perfectly righteous man.

It was in that state that he was set forth by the Father to create all things in his perfect mega genius mind.

In that way? Jesus could not know how any man or angel would choose after being created while he was yet in the state of denying himself to be omniscient.

The one righteous thing Jesus had in mind when creating us was that every angel and person he created would love the Father as he loves the Father.

Then...

After creating all things? He then returned to his omniscience.
Only then, to know the outcome of having created angels and men with volition.
That is when He agreed to go to the Cross when the time to do so was to be right.

All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written
in the Lamb’s book of life, the Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world." Revelation 13:8

how about here sir

Old testament

Does his mercy work here upon them and in them

Deuteronomy 7

New International Version

Driving Out the Nations
7 When the Lord your God brings you into the land you are entering to possess and drives out before you many nations—the Hittites, Girgashites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites, seven nations larger and stronger than you— 2 and when the Lord your God has delivered them over to you and you have defeated them, then you must destroy them totally.[a] Make no treaty with them, and show them no mercy. 3 Do not intermarry with them. Do not give your daughters to their sons or take their daughters for your sons, 4 for they will turn your children away from following me to serve other gods, and the Lord’s anger will burn against you and will quickly destroy you. 5 This is what you are to do to them: Break down their altars, smash their sacred stones, cut down their Asherah poles[b] and burn their idols in the fire. 6 For you are a people holy to the Lord your God. The Lord your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession.
7 The Lord did not set his affection on you and choose you because you were more numerous than other peoples, for you were the fewest of all peoples. 8 But it was because the Lord loved you and kept the oath he swore to your ancestors that he brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you from the land of slavery, from the power of Pharaoh king of Egypt. 9 Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.
Affection is not the same thing as mercy. ;)

Affection is not the same thing as mercy. ;)
actually sir he did poor his mercy out on his own people that came before Deuteronomy in exodus

What's more important my mate.

Is in deut 7 the father says show them no mercy.

My understanding is, for him to say show them no mercy, must mean they had inner mercy already from his mercy being poured out on them

So in my understanding when the lord said he would poor out his mercy upon whom he would poor it out on in exodus, before Deuteronomy, then that must mean by time Deuteronomy 7 came his mercy was working in them to.

His chosen people whom where only chosen because they where the fewest in his eyes. As in the least.

Which means all unsaved people are capable of showing mercy before being filled with the holy spirit.

Which makes his mercy his enabling.

I mean it's just not rocket science

I encourage you to learn the meaning of non sequitur... and stop employing it.

Romans 10:17 refutes total inability

“Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

Calvinism says:
You must be regenerated before you can hear spiritually.

Paul says:
Hearing the word is what produces faith.

John 6:45 refutes total inability

“Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me.”

Calvinism says:
Dead sinners cannot hear or learn until after regeneration.

Jesus says:
Hearing and learning come before coming to Him.

John 6:63 refutes total inability

“The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.”

Calvinism says:
Regeneration gives life so you can receive the word.

Jesus says:
His words give life.

The life comes through the word, not before the word.

Hebrews 7:19 refutes total inability

“By this better hope we draw near to God.”

Calvinism says:
Man cannot “draw near” until God regenerates him.

But Hebrews says we draw near because of the hope provided in Christ —
not because of pre-salvation regeneration.

Drawing is made possible by Christ’s provision, not irresistible grace.

Acts 11:14 refutes total inability

“…who will tell you words by which you will be saved.”

Calvinism says:
Regeneration must happen before hearing.

Acts says/teaches:
The words of God must be heard to be saved.

Summary: All these passages show man CAN respond when taught

The pattern is consistent:

God draws by His word: people hear, people learn, people believe, people come, people receive life, people are saved.

This chain is impossible under total depravity, because total depravity demands: no hearing, no learning, no responding, no drawing near, unless regeneration happens first.

But Scripture repeatedly makes the word itself the means of: awakening, persuading, convicting, drawing, saving.
Thus regeneration cannot come before faith, and total depravity collapses.

You ought to stop pretending everybody hears...

John18-37b-John8-47-Matthew13-11b.png

John 18 v 37b John 8 v 47 Matthew 13 v 11b For this reason I was born and have come into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone who belongs to the truth listens to My voice. Whoever belongs to God hears the words of God. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him. Plus 2 Timothy 1 v 9, He has saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works, but by His own purpose and by the grace He granted us in Christ Jesus before time began.

can't do his will without him.

Hear these Calvie bells ringing

Mercy sir and merry Christians

If you are walking in the Spirit?....
And, have matured by learning and understanding a large amount of sound doctrine to think with?
You will be able to do His will that otherwise you might think it is a wrong thing to do according to your own understanding.

For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,”
declares the Lord.
“As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9

From Matthew 4 verse 4 Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.
