Does anyone know 'the roots' of this tradition?

If I recall correctly, many years ago a queen, the wife of the Sultan went swimming. When she came out of the water she was flipping her head to get water out of her ears. Some children saw her and laughed so the guards cut their heads off. As a result of this joyful event girls everywhere celebrate joyful occassions with this dance as a way to say to the ruler "don't chop my head off".

Money is debt which gets moved around.
Why is this true on a certain level?

Because the left has all but destroyed the way it should be.

Coal, oil, gas, mining,ag products, timber and fishing CREATE money. They don't believe God will provide, so they play God and shut it all down and regulate it to death.

Delusional.

"As you recall" eh? The wife of the Sultan..... of....?

This is another reason why people here can't take anything you say seriously.

Let's see what Chat GPT says....

In the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and broader Gulf region, the hair flipping dance most commonly refers to a traditional dance performed by women, often called Al Ayala (for men) and Al Yowla or Nasha'at Al Banat (for women). The specific hair flipping dance performed by Emirati women is a unique cultural tradition tied to Bedouin heritage.

Cultural Significance

  • Expression of Femininity: The hair dance is deeply symbolic of female beauty, grace, and strength. In Bedouin culture, a woman's hair was seen as a symbol of pride and identity.
  • Ceremonial Role: Traditionally performed at weddings, Eid, and other major events, the dance serves to honor the occasion and show support and joy.
  • Non-verbal Communication: The motion of the hair, eye contact, and body posture in the dance communicate celebration, strength, and unity among women.

It was a joke. I thought it would have been obvious. They all looked like they were trying to shake water out of their ears.
