I believe in total surrender to the father and total yielding to the spirit so I agree with this statement

Thanks Blain, and I like the word "yield". The church where I learned alot of this uses the word yield alot.

But, when the Father calls us, yeiding isn't really a strong enough word. Yeiding leaves a kind of grey area that would be ok after we have received His Spirit, but not so much when we are responding to the call of the Father at the very beginning of the salvation journey.

We're getting into the nuts and bolts of this topic of saving Faith and faithing.

Sadly, what you describe constitutes the bulk of BDF “discussion”.

I remember a time when there were some really good discussions to be had. These days if you try to post an op, 10 people will jump on it in order to demonstrate they know more than you do.

I really do not want it to be that way. :cautious:

I like the phrase agape love a lot does your church use that any?

My friend sadly cc is a very popluated place with all kinds of people and most refuse to ever afmit to being wrong they would rather cut their toe off and many want to be right more than they want to discuss things or learn the truth but steel yourself because there will come a time I am sure when this will not be the case or at least it will lessen more and more. Hopefully....

Then you probably shouldn't be a Christian.
Christianity is hard and takes courage.

I have a fundamental disagreement with your understanding, or where ever your providing this from.

We don't accept Him, He accepts us.

So in conclusion, the person or persons that provided the information you stated, have a misunderstanding of what Faith and faithing is. So that makes anything beyond that null and void.

I'm still waiting for your response to that subject. If you have to do research to support your understanding of pisteuo or saving faith, that would be a red flag. Your experience should lead any research, and will stand on its own.

The astute among us will note that I provided Scripture for every point.

Well, you lack discnerment if that is what you think. Always better to ask questions when you do not know someone. I am sad over the lack of actual biblical truth in this forum lately and thanks for letting me know about your attitude. I was giving you the benefit of the doubt, but like so many here, you think you have the ability to talk smack to people and sound like some kind of gifted prophet.

The actual thing here, is that I most certainly am a child of God and yet you do not recognize that in your haste to sound superior.

If you have within you the Holy Spirit, you would have known.

Yeah. How's your daily dose of Jesus? Thing is, I am astute. Very astute. Sometimes I do get weary though as my posts above reveal. Carry on

Can I get a confirmation from you on this post?

You do, understand that the correct response to the call of the Father is " a personal surrender to Him and a life inspired by such surrender "?
