I think it's all damaging. Why is if it was someone like Iran,the Mafia or other well organized governments or groups the shooter that day would have been an older person in a multiple person team with completely different equipment and the result would have been different. The damage being done is that the Fed's,SS and others are explaining step by step where they were and what they were doing down to how far out their perimeter was. It's the dumbest thing for a security service to explain detail after detail of their own weaknesses to the public because in the end groups that actually have the money and desire to do what took place that day are probably gleaming a bucket full of information. It don't make any sense for someone called the SECRET Service to be telling so many of their secrets.
This was an inside job made to look like a lone gunman. And the people who wanted to do such a thing already know how to do it. If God hadn't intervened we would be having a state funeral today instead of a convention.
If you say so to me I think .556 at 130 to 150 yards is a 1.3 in drop and about 2.2 inch wind drift at 5 to 7 mph winds but a 20 year old kid kid that shot at a paper target didn't know that. There's also the 11 degree drop but I wont get into that.
A healthy dose of skepticism would help you more than a sniper lesson. It was a kill shot had Trump not turned his head.
No watch the video Trump had turned to his right already when multiple shots went past him not just the one that hit his ear.
it would take 90 days to train him for that shot. Or 30 days if he was already trained to shoot and was preparing specifically for that shot. Or one week if he already had 90 days of training as a sniper.
What a gas it is, I'm trying to explain that it was a goofy kid with no experience that missed and everyone would rather it be a professional instead of keeping Trump safe from an actual real shooter, Trumps got no chance with you people.
Why do you assume people don't know what you are saying. Anyone aware of the political scene and has critical thinking skills is well aware of what took place.
The reluctance to admit to it I suppose or the insistence that it was something else? Whats a Barrette 107 in the first place? No one would take suggestions anyway but if Trumps going to have these concert type outdoor rallies he needs to have the stage set up without attendees behind him and him blocked by a structure with 45 degree walls blocking his right.left and back from would bee shooters. Directly in front of him needs to have the bleachers tall enough that the buildings directly facing him blocks the line of sight for at least 2000 meters. I realize that's a lot of numbers for a forum like this but the weapon that the SS snipers have to me look like a Barrette M107 that has a 6561.68 foot range so over a mile. A mile is 5280 feet. Trump,the SS everybody needs to rethink these outdoor rallies.

Because according to Sun Tzu assuming this was a lone wolf attack by a kid with no experience is the very last thing we should assume and only after all other possible explanations have been debunked.
I am perfectly willing to believe human error can be the cause, but I never assume that. Only an idiot would make that assumption. The first assumption for me is that the people with billions of dollars on the line or at risk of going to prison for treason would be involved.
I am also willing to believe in the keystone cops theory, but only after eliminating the palace guard theory.
The problem is this. If this is the keystone cops then I would expect the director of the Secret Service to be outraged and firing people, at the very least putting them on desk duty while the full investigation takes place. She said the buck stops with her and then does absolutely nothing.

What does it mean that there are layers to security.
One person on this thread pointed out that no one is perfect, that they will make mistakes. This is fully understood in security.
For example they scouted out the place and didn't put people on that roof because "it was slanted". I think that was clearly a mistake. Let's assume a mistake like this can be attributed to human error 1% of the time.
Second, letting this kid through the perimeter with a rifle was clearly a mistake. Again, that could be human error 1% of the time.
Third the Secret Service saw this kid using a range finder from that building and did not apprehend him and question him. OK, 1% of the time.
Fourth, witnesses and police saw this person with a rifle on the roof and did not stop him. OK, 1% of the time.
Fifth the snipers saw him, had them in their sights and would have stopped him by shooting him if their boss had given them the OK, but the boss refused. OK, 1% of the time.
Sixth, the person was seen climbing up on the roof 30 minutes before shooting Trump and was in the sights of the sniper for 3 minutes who was in communication with the team for that time but they never pulled Trump off the X. OK, 1% of the time.
But the odds that all six of these errors taking place together is not 1%, it is .01x.01x.01x.01x.01x.01 =.000000000001, or .0000000001% chance. I'll focus on this being a set up with the palace guard involved as the odds are 99.999999999% chance I am right.
I will also assume that anyone still pushing this lone wolf theory in the media is working with the killers as are those who are trolls on the internet. Obviously some will simply be useful idiots, but again, it is foolish to assume someone is an idiot until you have eliminated the possibility that they are actually involved in the treasonous plot.
Then I will look at other things to prove that Trump really does have enemies so evil and desperate to do this. You have the polls, the lawfare, and the words from Biden and the media all corroborate this theory.

This popular YouTuber probably got more flack than a lot of others who were at the scene serving and protecting.
No different than the police in Texas who waited until the gunman emptied his weapon in a grade school killing 21 before entering into the building.
Uvalde was obviously a very good analogy and I also used the same Baysian analysis on that shooting and came up with the same conclusion, the odds of the police not being involved in facilitating that is less than 0.0000001%.
