I have stated the facts. You are talking about a normative approach to the problem. I’m describing what reality is.

Now, is it so hard to understand that a detail of people will make mistakes? Is it so hard to understand that the authorities don’t know squat about most people?

Although he regularly appeared in Fox News panels, Clarke is a democrat. Is it even possible to run a mixed ticket? I vaguely recall something of the electoral system beginning by granting the runner-up in Presidential elections the VP status, but that practice didn't take long to be discarded for some reason.

One just has to watch the video clip of the attempt on Ronald Reagan's life to see how well they responded and well trained they were.

This is not about human unpredictability and challenges of working in tandem.
A most ridiculous claim especially in light of the all the facts released in the past 48 hours.

Every revelation you get from the Bible is a "rich". With each "rich" you get a little more assurance until one day you have the full assurance of understanding.

Not only so but virtually every assassination of a top leader like a US president involves the palace guard (the Secret Service).

There was a plot and a plan to kill Trump. But the Left cannot afford to be honest since the government, the media, and the Deep State are all in this together. The Secret Service now claims (falsely) that they failed to put a sniper on the roof because of its slope! Then the local police said that the state police were responsible, and the state police said that the Secret Service was responsible (and rightly so).

Now the real issue is how these enemies of America -- "domestic enemies" -- will be brought to justice. They cannot be allowed to remain free so that they can continue to plot and plan and destroy. This is a huge job.

Controversial take, and I accept any flak I'll get for it, but I actually like AOC. Not that I agree with anything she says particularly, but I think she is one of the few leftists that genuinely believes the stuff she says whereas the others just come across as cynical grifters. In a twilight zone sense it's sort of the same appeal with Trump where I think he is actually genuine about what he says and believes genuinely in his worldview.

There are scouts that plan and recheck from the time of the initial schedule.
They have it down to a science considering there's plenty of teams like this that get trained periodically and trained on the tax payers$.
All the federal groups have multiple teams all over the place, the states do too. Most local municipalities have swat teams consisting of snipes and counters. As long as they have the employees, there's none too small. The tax payers provide the money through the grants. I've met/ known quite a few just through routine business, jobs and friends. You talk and get some perspectives. Most have group think . They cover each other when it comes down to obeying orders or repeating briefs without questions. I don't blame it on training. I blame it on poor parenting and character of the individuals who think a certain way. I've got a dozen examples.


People make mistakes and you get bad workers in every field. This wasn't one of those situations. You've taken time to check out the latest from what you explained. I agree with you and it seems obvious to us.
I shake my head at some and think that some just don't get it.
There will be a lot of people making excuses for persecution of believers some day too.
 
Well, if anyone is watching the Republican Event tonight you just heard Trump's Homeland security Chief Chad Wolf just say it was Trump's OWN SECURITY TEAM who failed in the assignation attempt.

For the people who planned and carried out the assassination attempt it was. Trump was unpredictable, turning his head at exactly the right moment to avoid getting his head blown off.

Trying to kill a former president who is running for office is treasonous, they will execute all those involved. So you can imagine the panic and desperation to try and convince everyone that this was human foibles and a misguided 20 year old man. But like you said that story has collapsed in the last 24 hours and it is too late to come up with a better one, at least until they can tie up all the loose ends by exterminating anyone and everyone who might blow the whistle. Also people are not stupid, they know that if they don't come and blow the whistle now they will either be killed by one side or tried for treason by the other. So there are a lot of challenges in putting together an operation like this. Already the director of the Secret Service is implicated and you can be sure she does not intend to fall on her sword without taking a whole lot of other people with her.

Even those in the media paid to be trolls will be implicated in this.

The reality is that police are responsible for policing and stopping criminals from committing crimes. And the Secret Service is responsible for protecting the president AT ALL COSTS. They killed the sniper finally because they were afraid he would expose the plot to kill Trump. while using him to distance themselves.

But look at all the mass school shootings and what do you see? Not only incompetence and cowardice, but no proper planning way ahead of any incident.

Do you mean to tell us that a solid security plan could not be implement for absolutely every school and every presidential candidate, when hundreds of billions of dollars went to that useless proxy war, and several billions to treat illegal migrant invaders like royalty while citizens suffer? Is this insanity or pure evil?

Easy, get someone like Dan Bongino who you trust to plan out your security and block line of sight with balloons and other techniques. Trump needs to have people he trusts and vets to be in charge of security and supervise it.

Agreed. As I had said earlier, Trump already knew that the Secret Service had been corrupted and compromised. And he has the wealth to hire absolutely the best vets (who also need to be vetted first by Michael Flynn for loyalty) to ensure that the Secret Service stays somewhere in a basement. Yet he went along with this charade. Alex Jones has been warning him since 2015, so by now he should have had a hundred people on his own security team. So has Roger Stone. There's no point in having those rallies if you are not there in the end to do something . And Dan Bongino is a good guy who speaks out.

Certainly he should be able to afford a competent small security team. Unless someone paid them more? I don't know.

That's the easy way out. Both are evil, so there is no need to say anything. The evil enemies of Christ said that he cast out demons by the power of Satan. That was the same idea.
