Thank You Brother, I have always used Humor to Cope. It has just been hard for me lately. I needed the reminder because it does make me feel better to cheer others up as well.
Thank You, However I am Struggling more than I would like to admit. I appreciate what everyone is trying to say and do. But the truth is, Nothing so far is helping me. God is the Only one that can Help Me. Trusting in Jesus Christ is my only option. I Pray that Time and the Grace from the Lord will Grant Me Peace Soon.Hi Michael, glad you are here and growing, moving forward, etc. We are proud of you!
I'm just sorta bouncing off what @BillyBob said, but every now and then a member starts a thread wherein we can ask other members random questions. Some are silly, some are serious, and nobody has to answer unless they want to. But it's always a really interesting discussion!
Maybe you'd like to start a similar thread? You'd be a great host and I can link you to the last one if you need ideas.

And @Snackersmom I Will admit that I have not been called, "boy" in a long time. That did actually Cheer Me Up. Thank You for Your Kindness. The Truth is, Everyone just taking the Time to respond and acknowledge me is very helpful. I Am Very Excited to share that the Prayer Meeting at Church last night was even more Amazing than Usual. I left with a Peace that I have not felt in a while. A Member from the Church who is also the Leader of my Life Group Prayed over me and pointed to and explained Scripture to me in a way that really resonated with me. I left feeling at Peace and slept Great. There is no shame in struggling, and it takes honesty and humility to admit it so I'm proud of you for that if nothing else. You are closer to the heart of God than you realize!
Growth is often a process of two steps forward, one step back... especially in the early stages of our walks. I can see the signs though, slowly but surely you are moving forward... so boy, don't you gaslight me by saying otherwise!
In all seriousness, here is a verse I feel led to share with you:
Philippians 1:6 NKJV — "being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ"
God bless brother, we are here for you but more importantly so is Jesus!![]()

This Scripture in Particular was emphasized.
Philippians 4:6-9
6 Don't worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
8 Finally brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable-if there is any moral excellence and if there is anything praiseworthy-dwell on these things.
9 Do what you have learned and received and heard from me, and seen in me, and the God of peace will be with you. AMEN
Thank You @seoulsearch And as I have said before, Your Strength and Compassion is an Inspiration to Us All.We appreciate these updates and I'm always glad to hear how you're progressing, Michael!!
One foot in front of the other, one step, one day at a time -- like so many of us are feeling, too.
You're doing great and thank you for continuing to talk to us!![]()

Yes that works for some people. For other people depression is a little bit more stubborn.See how easy it is?
Concentrate on the enjoyable things in life, the things that brought a smile to your face, and be ever thankful for the memories! Also choose to laugh at things as life continues, such as your post to @Snackersmom .
Lets change this subject into the happiness that only God can offer!
I am not trying to make lite the things that you are going through. However, if you smile at life, you will have less time to think about the things that trouble you.
As you can see by my signature line, it's just my opinion, and I hope and pray that it helps!
Also, @seoulsearch What Exactly is that new profile picture? It is to small for me to tell. Is it a Face? Food Art?Thank you so much -- I greatly appreciate it!
Kind words like this motivate me to keep going, too, because we all go through rough patches.
Thank you for sharing yours with us!![]()

I SEE Nowwwww. Very Interesting, God is Showing You some well deserved Love. Embrace it. And did You eat the Strawberry???It is one of the last strawberries I was able to harvest for the season. I only have a container garden, and this was actually two strawberries that had turned sideways and grew together to form the shape of a heart -- along with a hole smack-dab in the middle.
I like to say that it was a strawberry that was trying (very hard) to identify as a donut!!![]()

Manure is in fact the best fertilizer. However, It may taste like...I sure did!!
It wasn't all that tasty, but it sure was probably the most... unique-looking strawberry I'd ever had!
A farming friend told me edible crops often need manure for the best taste. I'm not willing to go that far, since I'm limited to only a few container plants outside my door.
So I guess I shall rely on the grocery stores for berries with actual flavor!![]()
