I'll take that as a maybe.Taking scripture out of context is not good Bible study. John 6 is concerning those under the law, pre-crucifixion. They had no understanding of the cross. Taking such a verse and placing it as doctrine upon those after the mystery has been revealed causes confusion. Rightly divide the word of truth.
Thanks for your answers even though not in the form I asked.

1. False because the wording sounds Calvinistic that even the will of man can not choose God. Total depravity as they call it.
3. False because this is Calvinistic as well with election and predestination.
But it all depends on how you define these topics of depravity, election, and predestination. You can find Biblical truth within them but not at the extreme of Calvinism.
Must of read it wrong. Thanks for your answers even though not in the form I asked.
Yes, and certainly vulnerable to temptation. Don't know if we could say that about Jesus. Can one be tempted if they are not vulnerable to temptation? He was created good but from the dust of the earth, that is, natural and perishable.

Hebrews 4:15
“For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.”
I'll take that as a maybe.
No problem at all. I am very grateful that you took the time to respond.Must of read it wrong.

I cannot fathom, given the parameters of the question, how any Christian can answer false to any of them.
There is such a blind hatred of Calvinists, that it clouds the judgement of many.

Thanks again. To those before the cross, maybe. To those after the cross, nope. One must hear the gospel, believe the gospel, and then the believer is sealed by the Holy Spirit. It is always a choice.
Open-eyed hatred of CalvinISM on a clear day. Contend for the Faith, Edward. There is such a blind hatred of Calvinists, that it clouds the judgement of many.
It's the doctrines of Calvinism that are the problem, not the people who are deceived into believing them. There is such a blind hatred of Calvinists, that it clouds the judgement of many.

1. When Adam sinned, his mind, heart, and will were corrupted.
2. Jesus has met every requirement of God for those who are saved.
3. All that are given to Jesus by the Father will come to Him and receive eternal life.
Thanks for taking the time to respond even though it was not what I was asking for.I say
Well it is a little more involved than that ------His Whole Nature changed from Holy to Sinful and that included the Blood that ran through his body ------as the Sin Nature passed on through the blood ---and the male sperm produces the Blood ------that is why Mary was impregnated with the Holy spirit so the Blood that ran through Jesus was pure and holy ----no male sperm was permitted with Mary ---
That is a true statement -----
I say
I think the way you have this worded is just for those who are saved ------which is a little confusing to me
--- Jesus accomplished what His Father put Him on this earth to do which was to shed His blood to cover sin for all People for all time ----so it is not just for the saved ------it was done for everyone ---
sin is no longer an issue for any person -------and God the Father sent Him to bring His Grace which made available to all people a chance to be Adopted back into a personal relationship with Him for those who accept His Son as their Lord and Saviour -----which is a true statement -----
I say ---
I think your wording here again is a little confusing ------what I see you saying here is that the person God chooses to give to Jesus cannot choose to reject Jesus --they just receive Him because God the Father gave them to Jesus ---
and that is not the Truth if that is what your meaning here ------
God the Father is constantly pulling on all peoples hearts to come to His Son -------and the person has free will to choose to come to Jesus or reject that pulling of the heart ------Salvation is for all but not all will receive it as they choose on their own to reject the Father's pulling on their hearts --------
That is the Truth of the scripture ----
So while you mean well with your Quotes here ----the wording your using is a little confusing in my view ----------
As well there should be.amongst Christians there exists a desire to be right
Tickling itching ears is not love. Love is just and true.rather than to love.
The Church is more than just a bunch of gay Willies giving each other backrubs. Iron sharpens iron.I realize in the world we live in this would open us up to ridicule and likely our motives would be questioned. But if not love, then what? If not now, then when? If not us, then who?
