    Mid-trib

This is one of the bizarre contradictions of dispensationalism. The holy spirit is removed from the earth, yet the 144,000 Jewish evangelists preach the gospel to Israel, who somehow believes the truth without the spirit of truth that convicts the world of sin and reveals Christ to the unsaved.

    Was King David a rapist?

I don't see that in the text, either the Hebrew or Greek.

    Was King David a rapist?

As I read this, first David had her brought to the palace, then bedded her, then she cleansed herself per Leviticus 15:18, then she went to her house. And David sent messengers, and he took her; and he entered to her, and went to bed with her. And she was purified from her uncleanness, and she...

Some here will see the Son of Man coming

I think some folks must get confused about Daniel 7:13 because they see the word came and think "the 2nd coming of Christ", as in Mark 13:26 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him...

    Was King David a rapist?

I wonder if they took a bath together? The woman also with whom man shall lie with seed of copulation, they shall both bathe themselves in water, and be unclean until the even. Leviticus 15:18

Some here will see the Son of Man coming

How is arriving in heaven returning to earth?
  7. HeRoseFromTheDead

    Was King David a rapist?

That's not what that verse says at all. It says she stayed with David until she was clean from sleeping with him. People who had sex were unclean until the evening (Leviticus 15:18).

    Was King David a rapist?

No she wasn't. Her husband was one of David's 30 mighty men. She could have stopped David if she had wanted.

    Was King David a rapist?

I recommend taking that blog piece with a grain of salt. It says that bathing water had to be collected rainwater, which is simply not a requirement of the law, or even realistic. Also, did Hebrew women only bath once a month?

Some here will see the Son of Man coming

Oh course Daniel 7:13 has happened. It describes the son of man arriving in heaven with clouds, not leaving heaven with clouds. The son of man left earth with clouds of heaven And after [Jesus] had said these things, while [the apostles] were watching, he was taken up, and a cloud received him...

Some here will see the Son of Man coming

No it's not. Jesus won't be sitting at GOD's right hand in Matthew 24:30-31; he'll be returning to earth in the clouds. He went to heaven in clouds (Daniel 7:13) and then sat at GOD's right hand where he will remain until he arises from there and returns to earth.

    Was King David a rapist?

The law demanded her death. Oops! I forgot you were there. Did she scream for help?

    Was King David a rapist?

Bathsheeba's too. If the law had been upheld she would have been stoned to death. If a damsel that is a virgin be betrothed unto an husband, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her; Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that...

    Was King David a rapist?

How do you take a bath with clothes on? Also, If she didn't have adultery on her mind, why didn't she defer going to the palace alone without a trusted male escort. Realistically, she probably knew why David was requesting her presence (or should have) because males don't just out of the blue...

What kind of Church would Jesus approve of

The constant overbearing focus on witnessing and getting everyone saved is a distraction to keep Christians from having to face the hard reality of living holy lives, and to ensure a steady source of tithe income.

This is well done. Thank you for your faithful witness.

    Was King David a rapist?

How dumb can people be to not consider that she probably knew David was watching her and showed him a little skin to entice him. She knew the palace overlooked her rooftop. A discrete woman wouldn't have allowed anyone to see her naked. They were both at fault. It happens all of the time - it's...

Some here will see the Son of Man coming

Jesus answered the high priest in his usual oblique manner by telling him that he was the fulfillment of Daniel 7:13-14. That prophecy was well known to the Sanhedrin, so they knew exactly what he was saying, which is why they were so enraged. And they did see with their own eyes that reality 7...

Some here will see the Son of Man coming

Jesus was referring to Daniel 7:13. The high priest knew that prophecy well, and is why he became enraged and demanded Jesus be executed.

    Obedience, Oh No!

Wait, stick around for a lesson from the law about Martha and Mary (Luke 10:38-42).
