    Is there marriage in heaven?

Why do you think this if you don't mind me asking?

    Is there marriage in heaven?

My guess is that there is not marriage in heaven, since there is no marriage in the first resurrection. It would be a little strange to be married in heaven and then not married when the resurrection happens, or inconvenient, I suppose. Maybe there is though?

What is sexually immoral in marriage?

Is "strange flesh" as expressed in Jude 1 (KJV) a reference to homosexual behaviour?

Can you be baptized by an unbelieving person?

Do you know if these baptisms were under the authority of Jesus?

Do believers die during the first resurrection?

My cursory understanding is that believers do indeed die during the first resurrection. Please correct me if I'm wrong... 1) The first resurrection is a 1,000 year period where believers live and reign with Jesus. 2) This is evidenced by the fact that Jesus said that those that the Father draws...

Can you be baptized by an unbelieving person?

I think it says you cannot enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the spirit, does that mean if it's necessary you can be baptized by an unbelieving person? Let's say the only option for a church was one with people who are unbelieving, can you be baptized by someone there?

Why do Acts 9:7 and Acts 22:9 contradict each other?

The verses are Acts 9:7 and Acts 22:9 (KJV).

Why do Acts 9:7 and Acts 22:9 contradict each other?

I don't understand this... in the KJV there is an apparent contradiction here. The men with Paul hear a voice, and then it says that they don't hear a voice.

What is your favourite Gospel in the Bible?

Mine would be the Gospel According to John.

Could Jesus forgive sins because he is the "Lamb slain from the foundation of the world"?

As it says in Revelation? Or does he just have the authority to do so as the Son of God? Like how come he could do so before he was crucified and raised from the dead?

What role do male Gentile believers play with regards to the 144,000 spoken about in Revelation?

Whoops, it occurred to me that if someone has one ancestor that is a Jew you would be a Jew all the way.

What role do male Gentile believers play with regards to the 144,000 spoken about in Revelation?

I personally don't know if I am a Jew or Gentile, when I read Revelation though it seems it speaks of 144,000 men who are Jews being sealed I presume as the men who are saved from the world, though in Paul's writing I think it might speak of the full number of the Gentiles coming in, so if this...

Help for those dealing with blasphemy against the Holy Ghost

Well, if you look at Matthew 12, Luke 12, and Mark 3 comparatively it's logical to view that Jesus was speaking of the sin of blaspheming against the Holy Ghost in his presence while He was at work, since in Luke 12 he speaks of speaking against himself and then blaspheming against the Holy Ghost.

Help for those dealing with blasphemy against the Holy Ghost

Look man, I think you've fallen into backbiting, and it is a serious thing and can keep someone out of the kingdom of God, it is mentioned in the New Testament and you're one of the contributors here that I have looked forward to reading. I have a heart for you since you post here a lot and...

What is sexually immoral in marriage?

I get what you mean with the sigh, but with the way it reads I think it might mean that you're allowed to be intimate with your wife or husband... I don't know if it reads the other way, like the marriage bed is undefiled, ie. you can be intimate. If someone knows the language of the KJV REALLY...

What is sexually immoral in marriage?

Hebrews 13:4 (KJV) Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge. It seems to me that this weighs toward saying that things are permissible in the marriage bed... I don't know how far that goes though if it's the truth.

What is sexually immoral in marriage?

Well... to comment on the topic of the thread it seems Hebrews 13:4 (KJV) defines the marriage bed as "undefiled"... it seems to me like a lot is permissible in the marriage bed since this is the language that is used, that the marriage bed is undefiled. I'm a virgin though and unmarried and...

    I have believed

Well, Jesus Christ for certain, JEHOVAH God, and the spirit of holiness. And I am confident of those things. JEHOVAH is God's name as it is written in the Old Testament.

    I have believed

I've believed in the Lord Jesus and the Father and the spirit of holiness. I have confidence that I will be in heaven when I die, unless I am caught up to meet the Lord Jesus, I suppose. I have confidence I will be in new Jerusalem after the day of judgment and that I won't be in the lake of fire.

Is it possible for sinners to believe during the first resurrection?

Revelation 20:4-6 KJV (please read in the Holy Bible for further purposes, this is from BibleGateway) 4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had...
