Did Jesus Die on The Cross for The Just/Elect/Saved Whose Names Are Written in The Book of Life OR

There are many ways to know. Unless one is learning through the Holy Spirit, it doesn’t matter how many languages one is fluent in. There is a distinction between knowledge and wisdom.

Did Jesus Die on The Cross for The Just/Elect/Saved Whose Names Are Written in The Book of Life OR

Is there a Scripture that says one must know multiple languages to know God?

    Predestination is misunderstood...

The easiest type of person to rescue is someone who knows they need it. God has trouble rescuing the self-righteous. Not so much with those who are humbly repentant. Jesus once said, “Healthy people don’t need a doctor—sick people do. I have come to call not those who think they are righteous...

    Predestination is misunderstood...

That is a worthy endeavor, but often comes down to splitting hairs, then sub-splitting those. A simple evangelist needs only speak simple words that lead to life. After that, friends, congregations, teachers, pastors, and even angels, lead one into maturity.

    Predestination is misunderstood...

It might just be my idiocentric thinking, but it seems to me that the moment someone becomes positive in their thinking towards God, He will make a way for that person to have the oppertunity for eternal life. Otherwise, from our narrow human viewpoint, God would seem to be unfair. However, we...

    Predestination is misunderstood...

I think if you read his statement real slow, you will see that they were calling a belief about or towards baptism, blasphemy, not baptism itself.

    the Sabbath

Your stress on keeping the Law, and especially Saturday worship, is what most are replying to. If one is able to “Do good works,” (after all that is why we were created, according to Scripture), that seems to still fall short, according to the standard you present. Jesus said ,”You can do...

    the Sabbath

Just to be clear: are you saying there are three types of people? 1) Believers saved by faith, that follow all of God’s commandments. 2) People who think they are saved, but don’t follow all of God’s commandments. 3) The unsaved.

Water Baptism-What is in a Name?

Osmium, at 22.6 x 103 kg/m3, is considered the densest material on earth. Tungsten at 19.3 x 103 kg/m3, and Lead at 11.3 x 103 kg/m3, are not too far behind. However, I think the stubbornness of some folks in certain forums, far exceeds the density in even Osmium.

    the Sabbath

Whenever someone questions Paul’s writings, or says they seem to contradict other Scriptures, it always raises a red flag, to me. I find it puzzling how some folks spend so little time speaking of the grace of God, but spend endless tomes on God’s judgement and the Law.

    the Sabbath

Indeed, Peter agrees that sometimes what Paul says is not easy for everyone to understand, to their own detriment. Your statement that “Pauls write things that contradict Jesus,” is at the root of your inability to distinguish between the simple faith that saves, and the requirement to adhere...

    the Sabbath

I see you stated that you were saved at birth. Where in the Gospel that Jesus proclaimed, does He say that you need only be born, and not “born again?”

    What are his commandments?

“I guess we both will find out soon enough. Only He knows, He said to live by His every Word- if you can point out one thus saith the Lord that says we don't have to keep God's Sabbath? He blessed and only He can reverse Num 23:20 God is the one writing His holy law that judges all man. He...

    I have a question

You are calculating using a different formula. You are using the number of books written vs the number of words written. They are both valid observations, but the number of words written by each writer, in my opinion, is a better comparison.

Not sure, but it could easily be calculated.

    I have a question

Paul wrote approximately 13 out of the 27 books in the New Testament, which accounts for roughly 29% of the total word count in the New Testament.

I now know why so many religious folk love casseroles; just throw a bunch of verses in a dish, mix it up, and bake at 350 for one hour ;-)

That says a lot, thank you. I find I often convey more, the less I say. Kinda like a favorite quote of mine from Mark Twain. “I wrote a long letter to you, because I didn’t have time to write a shorter reply.”
