Donald Trump: Using Fear and the Race Card?

It's my perception that it's a "tantrum" because when pointing out valid points (some in which his biggest supporters even concede), it's taken and/or assumed I must have a personal dislike or agenda against Trump. It couldn't possibly be there are things I wish Trump addresses and changes to...

Donald Trump: Using Fear and the Race Card?

I tend to think "outrage" is extremely selective in politics. Neither party is guilt-free of this though. As for genuine outraged, I think it does happen from time-to-time. I probably shouldn't have used that word in that context though as it's a bit exaggerative. Perhaps I should have chosen...

Donald Trump: Using Fear and the Race Card?

It seems that way because rather than respond to the post substantively to counter my point, you went the personal assertion route. Most people understand this happens when the person is unable to defend their position and instead want to lash out emotionally.

Trump: You won’t have to vote again

Agreed, I also hope Vance isn't the future of the Republican party. I hope Trump passes it to someone else after his 4 years is over.

Donald Trump: Using Fear and the Race Card?

You seem to love using the word "seem" and ignore points you can't defend and choose to make personal assertions of the person who blows up your position.

Donald Trump: Using Fear and the Race Card?

On a side note, I don't know how or why people aren't outraged he is still the current POTUS. The Democrats wanted him to not run again due to his drastic decline, especially over the last 4 years... He agrees and drops out for his re-election, but he is somehow fit RIGHT NOW? He should either...

Donald Trump: Using Fear and the Race Card?

I think it's self-evident that not EVERYTHING Trump does or says is wrong. If someone who genuinely believes everything Trump does or says is wrong, that would lead me to suspect they might just happen to have TDS. If someone is being hyperbolic in stating "everything Trump does is wrong", then...

Donald Trump: Using Fear and the Race Card?

I can't speak on your misconception of any particular agenda one has other than discussing the merits of Trump's definition of a "Black job". You're still on the "analogy"... I didn't compare the position of POTUS to Trump's definition of what a Black job is ("Anybody with a job.") I took his...

Donald Trump: Using Fear and the Race Card?

I think TDS is a real phenomenon that exists on both sides (for and against Trump). It ultimately comes down to two extremes: 1.) Everything Trump does is wrong. 2.) Trump can do no wrong. It's getting used inappropriately and as a result, it's losing meaning and impact.

Donald Trump: Using Fear and the Race Card?

I do see the big picture and completely agree. In 2016 and 2020, I never considered voting for the lesser evil. Because I'm worried with where we are at, I'm actually debating myself, everyday, on potentially voting for the lesser evil this time around. Kamala being installed as the nominee...

Donald Trump: Using Fear and the Race Card?

It's not that it's an UNPLEASANT experience, it's that we are discussing Trump and what he said. You're wanting to make it about your feelings/what you think I feel about him. It's not "assigning motive" when I object to his definition of a "Black job". Perhaps you could argue I "assigned...

Donald Trump: Using Fear and the Race Card?

Of course I have beef with some of the things Trump says. This has nothing to do with liking or disliking someone personally. I loved my grandfather very much. However, I remember my grandfather telling me when I was about 14, "Son, I don't care who you bring home as long as it's not another man...

Donald Trump: Using Fear and the Race Card?

This post clearly shows you didn't read what I wrong. It's pointless to discuss my position with you as you'll take the opposite meaning of my message and then claim you already knew this about me and how unreasonable I am. When people have to resort to making the discussion personal instead...

Donald Trump: Using Fear and the Race Card?

Actually, most people refuse to even define what a "Black job" is. The ones that tried, explicitly go against the very definition he gave on what it is. You might think their verbal gymnastics is "reasonable", but it doesn't make it so, nor does it mean anyone who rebuttals it has "TDS".

What specifically have I said has been unreasonable? I can do it line by line if necessary. I don't feel I've been unreasonable.

Donald Trump: Using Fear and the Race Card?

You seem to think he is sinless. I try to provide objectivity... you seem to want an echo chamber. Label someone as having "TDS" because he dares objectively criticize Trump... even though he is considering voting for him. That makes about as much sense as Trump's definition of a "Black job".

Donald Trump: Using Fear and the Race Card?

I didn't mean to offend you by discussing in good faith what Trump meant by a "Black job". I'd rather you poke at my points than at me personally though. When I debunked your misunderstanding of sanctuary cities, you just gave up and went personal.

Donald Trump: Using Fear and the Race Card?

Sure there are. You're bringing up sanctuary cities and making the claim they are giving jobs to illegal immigrants when you quoted my posts about targeting people who hire illegal immigrants. It's like my asking you what time it is and you say "orange". Sanctuary cities are another facet of...
