    Eternal Security Promotes Sin?

Paul had faith in God to bring His work to completion: Phil 1:6 And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.

    Eternal Security Promotes Sin?

Eternal security promotes true, free, from the heart and out of love obedience to love one another, forgive one another, as we ourselves have been. He supplies the grace for us by us receiving it ourselves. And then we freely give what we FREELY received.

    Eternal Security Promotes Sin?

I don’t believe the Kingdom is simply a place, it’s the Will of God. And where the will of God is fully enforced is the “place” you’re describing. But the word Kingdom is King’s Dominion or Domain. His domain is where people submit to Him. This is why our agreement or “amen” is so important...

    Eternal Security Promotes Sin?

I believe people mix them up because they think salvation is the goal. But eternal life is to know Him, the gospel has been incomplete in my opinion. But like all things Kingdom our understanding is continually increasing.

    Eternal Security Promotes Sin?

In regards to identity being hyper-grace teaching: Scripture does use the words “in Christ” and “you are now” quite a lot. The entire mindset of you are the light, the salt, and leaven these are all identity statements. A good tree can’t bear bad fruit is an identity statement. I can keep going...

    Eternal Security Promotes Sin?

If you are saved, you are already in the Kingdom. Not understanding this is one of the biggest reasons Christians still struggle in this life. The Kingdom of God is in the Holy Spirit. And we have the Holy Spirit. But I do agree the physical Kingdom manifests as Christ comes back, but we are in...

Before I write a long post. Are you open to another intepretation using the context for 1 Co 15:2 and 1 John 2:24?

    Eternal Security Promotes Sin?

My friend Oleg wrote this and he's very good at articulating his thoughts. I agree with a lot of it. Curious on your thoughts. :) It's basically a conversation of asking questions, things we can ask ourselves to see if we agree or disagree with his logical progression. One reason I like this is...

Yes and I honor that about you Ralph. You're willing to look at Scriptures that disagree with your POV. We just simply disagree on certain interpretations, but I do learn from your POV. So I appreciate you.

Interesting, I love the CLT Bible. Simply because it wants to allow Scripture to interpret itself. This is one of the reasons I got very engrossed in the Greek myself. I don't have an issue with the Bible saying we are glorified because I believe God knows who belongs to Him. We are simply...

Okay here's my next thought on this. I've been thinking about this and this Scripture came to my mind: Philippians 2:12Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, 13for it...

Amen, I have no issue with any of them, I’m simply pointing out the fruit of that belief system. I believe PS has a good heart and he’s a true seeker, which is why I’ve spent so much time with him. Bless you my friend as well. May God continue to lead both of us in all His truth.

What’s interesting is that this plainly describes the Pharisees when Jesus was on the Earth, they experienced all of His powers, discovered who He was, tasted and saw, but didn’t come to Him. So we have a very solid evidence of this happening already.

I can agree with this, but there are many other Scriptures. I can bring into this conversation as well. It seems to me that there are far more Scriptures for eternal security than against it. And people who are against eternal security generally ignore them. But I appreciate that you have a very...

"On the other hand, those Christians who wilfully leave the fold, and RETURN to their own vomit and proceed to wallow in the mire are no longer his." Except Scripture doesn't teach that. Are we back to Hebrews 6:-4 again? Okay so if it's IMPOSSIBLE to repent after you believe, you better not...

    Oh goody another OSAS thread!

He's discussing the integrity of the gospel. Not people leaving who were once believers. His point is that they won't add to the gospel. We see many Scriptures where Paul is vigilant about protecting the gospel from those who want to pervert it. And Paul's defense of the gospel is against those...
