    A Double Standard in Christianity?

I agree, they were made differently. But I also believe this as well: Gal 3:26For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither...

    "Among The"

Another of my pet peeves is many don't believe women are allowed to minister. Yet in some of their denominations they have women holding PHD's teaching in their seminaries teaching men & women how to study scripture properly, church history, & how to be good pastors. Yep, they will allow women...

    "Among The"

One of my pet peeves about the church is we have a horrible bad habit of putting "superstar" status on names/ministries in the Bible. The name "apostle" basically means "one who is sent", yet the church thinks they are head & shoulders spiritually above everybody else & their "office" can no...

    "Among The"

You've got me all wrong, Gary. Here I believe just as you do. You can't be "of note" among the apostles because the bacon you fried is excellent. The real point here is they were so highly thought of because of the reputation/value of their ministries. Thank you for helping me point that out.:)

    A Double Standard in Christianity?

It has been true throughout the ages that people can say the same thing over & over until everybody believes it. Lately we have discovered that many of these are false. To some of you, it might be in your by-laws somewhere that women can't minister, but that's not my fault.

    "Among The"

Ok. Let's look again how these two minister so well that they are "of note" among the Apostles. Epathroditus never has such a thing said about him, even though he nearly died to help Paul distribute money & supplies to the churches.

    A Double Standard in Christianity?

Since God didn't mandate female prophets be working under men in the OT, I see no need to do so without scripture evidence in the NT. Acts 2 plainly says daughters & handmaidens would minister prophecy by the Holy Spirit, so we need to understand that ANY prophetic utterance that's Spirit led is...

    A Double Standard in Christianity?

Even in the OT there were female prophets who ministered without teams or husbands right beside them. These OT prophets all basically did the same things, some more than others. Teaching, preaching, saw visions, dreams, & answered kings with wise counsel. Plus, we can find Biblical evidence of...

Please be merciful to me not responding because I have been sick & not able to answer. I'm not much better now. But I felt I needed to be on here to answer any questions or disagreements.

People before Christ from the Old Testament, are they saved?

Matt 19:16And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? 17And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. 18He saith unto him...

    A Double Standard in Christianity?

Aren't we all one in Christ Jesus(Galatians 3:28)? Aren't we all to be kings & priests(or a kingdom of priests) unto God(Revelation 5:10)? Didn't Acts 2 plainly state that on sons & daughters, servants & handmaidens the Holy Spirit would be poured out on them, and they would prophesy(speak for...

    REPLACEMENT THEOLOGY

I agree because the Bible says so: Eph 2:11Therefore remember that at one time you Gentiles in the flesh, called “the uncircumcision” by what is called the circumcision, which is made in the flesh by hands— 12remember that you were at that time separated from Christ, alienated from the...

    "Among The"

Ok.... I'll get to the point. Romans 16:7 Salute Andronicus and Junia, my kinsmen, and my fellowprisoners, who are of note among the apostles, who also were in Christ before me. Junia is a woman's name.

There is an important reason why I'm trying to lock this meaning down, but I won't get into that until this is established.

    "Among The"

What I see is that when they are used together, it always means they are a part of that group: Jews, Gentiles, princes of Juda, etc. So whatever the subject is before them, they are a part of that group. See?

    When asking God for forgiveness...

No, our Father isn't surprised at much of anything, even when we neglect our salvation. Hebrews 2:1Therefore we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, lest we drift away from it. 2For since the message declared by angels proved to be reliable, and every transgression or...
