Did Jesus ever tell us that we no longer need to keep the law of Moses?

    * yawn the Covenants with Isaac and Jacob had to do primarily with the land that would become Israel. so did the Abrahamic Covenant , except for the " through you all the families of the earth will be blessed ". that pertained to Christ, the Savior of the world, for any who BELIEVE in Him...

Did Jesus ever tell us that we no longer need to keep the law of Moses?

no. all these , and nine of the Ten are repeated in the New Testament, with Sabbath keeping being the exception. that is my beef with the judeaizers- they push Sabbath, and it is not there.

Did Jesus ever tell us that we no longer need to keep the law of Moses?

I will tell you my purpose. you told me a few days ago I was missing what you are saying. but, I am not. you are pushing the judeaizer lie that the Law is divided into parts, with the sacrifices and ceremonial laws being fulfilled and the commands are still binding in the New Covenant...

Did Jesus ever tell us that we no longer need to keep the law of Moses?

I have nothing against the Law of Moses, but it was given to Israel mainly because none of them had known Yahweh , and had lived in big-time pagan Egypt, so God had to completely separate them from paganism , and at the same time try to get them to not end up as idol worshipers. but, the world...

would it not make more sense to meditate on the Sermon on the mount, since that is the ultimate goal of the Christian? anyone reading this, please be aware- as well as it is presented, as good as it sounds, as well as it is intended , one does NOT< NOT < Not have to keep the Law of Moses and...

    Taxing the rich?

oh, I think it worked very well in the old u.s.s.r. a rich ruling class that ran things for many decades unchallengend , had many who even questioned them thrown in gulags , millions starved to death, millions more were depressed alcoholics , thousands died trying to flee it, they almost got...

Did Jesus ever tell us that we no longer need to keep the law of Moses?

honestly, I feel the same way about many of the judeaizers . they will not listen or try to understand what we are saying. ( we do understand what they are saying, at times better than they do!), because they try to interpet the New Covenant backward into the Old, instead of letting the New...

Did Jesus ever tell us that we no longer need to keep the law of Moses?

and what is God's will? to hear the Son. Jesus said those who had HIs commands and keeps them, it is they who love Him. now, of course, this was in John's Gospel, where Jesus made a big distinction between Him self and the Father, so He was NOT speaking of the Torah, he was speaking of the...

    Taxing the rich?

also, here in America, if we went to a flat tax, it would probably began to put a dent in the national debt, so they certainly don't want to do that. glad to hear someone bring this up, it was talked about a good bit back in the 90's , but has faded since then.

Did Jesus ever tell us that we no longer need to keep the law of Moses?

hey man, welcome back!! what mr. gardener teaches is Hebrew roots, which is easy to research, and one of it's lies is that Paul's writings at times contradict Jesus, and therefore are not authoritative Scripture.

Did Jesus ever tell us that we no longer need to keep the law of Moses?

they seem to have this weird mindset that we need to keep the Law to generate faith. their theology is - if you do enough good works, ( Law keeping ), and have enough faith , then God will extend grace to you, as long as you do the works that produce the faith, this makes sense to the carnel...

Did Jesus ever tell us that we no longer need to keep the law of Moses?

the point you continue to miss ( and ignore ) is we are to fulfill the righteous intent of the Law by manifesting the fruits of the Sprit, against which there is no law. we do not fulfill the righteous intent of the Law by living out the letter. the letter kills, the Sprit gives life.
