    This place is so WEIRD!

As I said at least twice recently, I don't "suggest"; I say what I mean, and I said nothing of the sort. Let's try to stay on topic, shall we? So once again, do you think that Paul is in hell because he labelled the Galatians as "foolish", or Peter as "condemned"?

Alcohol - a world wide phenomena

No, you provided a link to a download site. I am not downloading anything from a source I don't know. If you can't provide a brief explanation of the alleged preservation method, then I shall have to conclude that you have no evidence and are merely gassing off.

You're sick, Phoneman. Your heart is full of wickedness and malice, and you need help. "For out of the heart the mouth speaks".

Tell us about this alleged "preservation" method.

Alcohol - a world wide phenomena

Hops is a flavouring agent; the fermented material for beer is grain, and "rotten" is somewhat misleading. Further, vodka, whiskey, and gin are distilled, not merely fermented.

The BDF is replete with fruits and nuts... probably more so than the Conspiracy forum.

Your post reeks of arrogance and self-righteousness.

Alcohol - a world wide phenomena

I can give you one, and only one is needed: Deuteronomy 14:26 22 Be sure to set aside a tenth of all that your fields produce each year. 23 Eat the tithe of your grain, new wine and olive oil, and the firstborn of your herds and flocks in the presence of the Lord your God at the place he will...

    Childish posters.

Agreed. The problem is not with those who are reasonably expected to be immature, but rather with those who think they are mature, while clearly demonstrating otherwise by their actions.

    The New Apostolic Reformation

About 23 years ago, the leaders of the church I attended got involved with a NAR-like group out of South Africa. Over the course of the next five years, we shifted from being independent to being essentially controlled by this external group. They had a very heavy emphasis on tithing (with...

Your yelling only makes you look boorish, and adds nothing to your case. When you're ready to discuss things rationally, I'll respond further. I am only a disciple of Jesus Christ, and otherwise, I think for myself. You're still putting words in his mouth, and complaining about it. Do you have...

And this is stated where in Scripture, exactly? I don't take orders from you, so you can keep your playground bullying to yourself.

Does the Bible solemnly warn of eternal damnation?

I'll grant your first point, and I'll grant that your second is valid, though I still don't see any fundamental distinction between that view and the one that isn't concerned about the first death either, and it leaves very little if anything at all from which to be saved. To me the whole thing...

what are your thoughts of Apostle Kathryn Krick

Not at all! To the one I quoted in my post (which, admittedly, does kind of get hidden with the large pic). Of course, if you have that person on Ignore, you wouldn't see his post.

Fair enough! Very few can deal with me. I'm trouble! ;)

    Bacon-encrusted marzipan on top, perhaps?

How do you cope with distractions?

First, don't beat yourself up about it. Self-discipline is closely tied to self-control, which is a fruit of the Holy Spirit. It grows over time, not instantly. Being reasonably merciful on yourself is also good practice for being merciful to others when they fail, err, or sin. Second, set...
