Did Adam and Eve eat an apple?

The dots between actual Scripture and your position? Correct, I can’t.

Exactly! It’s a statement of certain consequence.

Did Adam and Eve eat an apple?

It’s completely ridiculous to quote Scripture and add words which conveniently support your a priori interpretation.

Did Adam and Eve eat an apple?

Listening to your wife is, of course, a good thing. Listening and doing what she says when it contradicts what God has clearly said, as Adam did, is not a good thing. Adam was under no "pressure" at all from her; CYN's assertion remains completely without scriptural support.

Did Adam and Eve eat an apple?

Still you have provided no support for your claim of "pressure". One only "obeys" a superior authority, whereas Eve had equal authority.

Did Adam and Eve eat an apple?

Question: How does "heeded" relate to "pressure"? Answer: It doesn't.

Did Adam and Eve eat an apple?

    That contradicts your earlier post.

Did Adam and Eve eat an apple?

That is speculation, as there is absolutely nothing in the text to support that conclusion.

Did Adam and Eve eat an apple?

That sounds like a catch-22. Adam did not sin until he ate of the fruit, but he also was not corrupted until he ate of the fruit. How could he sin before he sinned, or be corrupted before he was corrupted?

I am the only person on Earth that believes Genesis 2:17

Shhh... if you expose his inconsistency, he might be forced to reconsider his position. ;)

Did Adam and Eve eat an apple?

I suspected you knew how to spell it. I had to copy-paste from another site, so I understand the difficulty. :)

I am the only person on Earth that believes Genesis 2:17

Given that you invent unwarranted conclusions about Adam and Eve's biology, your claim to biblical literalism here is simply laughable.

Did Adam and Eve eat an apple?

Thanks for exposing your unbiblical position so plainly.

Did Adam and Eve eat an apple?

    Psst... the word is "naïve"

The Need For A Church Council

I like your optimism, though I find it profoundly naive. What you propose is simply not going to happen.
