I would maintain that forgiveness is applied at the moment of belief.

We know from Scripture that not all are or will be saved, so even though Christ died for all sin, not all persons apply His atoning death by faith. It is faith that makes everything ‘click’ into place. And no, obviously I don’t hold to ‘limited atonement’.

Agreed. When Jesus said the road is narrow, He was making reference to all the ways people think they can ‘get to heaven’ (He is the only way), not all the ways in which believers in Him might be excluded.

Agreed... but there is plenty of humour that most people appreciate. The occasional political quip is one thing; spamming the thread with it is another.
