This is interesting because God is not the author of confusion, and yet here we are, unified in our belief that Jesus Christ is the Messiah, yet so many opposing views regarding salvation. I lean on Psalm 31:5, “God into your hands I commit my spirit” and go from there.

I appreciate your response. Now I’m no lawyer or judge, but you stated verbatim, “If I also believed that my salvation is secured...” Then you stated, “I feel it is secure as promised...” I apologize if I seem confrontational because that is not my intention, but I’m getting mixed signals.

“Your faith has saved you.” There are many examples of Jesus saying this to people. He also told them to sin no more, but that was not an “or else” ultimatum, it was a directive to glorify God for the free gift they received. That’s my two cents.

Why do you feel your salvation is not secure when Scripture states otherwise?

I don’t want to argue with anyone, nor will I, but the concept of God dangling salvation like a preverbal carrot does not correspond with the magnitude of God sacrificing His Son. That’s my two cents.

Christian don’t go to Hell. The question is posed as though there is irrefutable proof that this happens. It goes against God’s Word.
