Should the Name of the Lord Jehovah be in each of the Psalms?

If, in any place in Scripture, "Jehovah" is not in the original text, then it shouldn't be in the translation. In Psalm 110:1, there are two different words in Hebrew for "the LORD" and "my Lord", so that definitely should not say "Jehovah says to Jehovah". "Jehovah" is rarely used because it...

    Scripture Based Flat Earth Proposition

It's a personal opinion, as I said. No, his post unfortunately does not contravene the site rules. The implication of a link between belief in heliocentrism and support of abortion is disgusting, despicable and demeaning. It's also baseless and ridiculous, but that's beside the point.

Um, your citation doesn't support your assertion.

    Did giants really exist?

Your use of "demon" here is likely misguided. Scripture says, "the sons of God came to the daughters of men..."(Genesis 6:4); demons are not "sons of God". How do you figure that?

    Scripture Based Flat Earth Proposition

Wow. Personally, I think you should be banned for the above. I knew you struggled with basic physics, but I see that basic decency and respect are far outside your capacity as well.

    The Error of KJV-Onlyism

The reason that most passages are excluded from any translation is because the manuscript evidence for them is insufficient.

    GOD'S Names.

'Elohim' is not one of the 'names' of God, but rather a generic term for a non-physical personal entity. The same term is used of the disembodied spirit of Samuel that appeared when Saul went to the witch of Endor.

    The Error of KJV-Onlyism

Already addressed. Bible versions don’t ‘do’ anything; people do things.

    The Error of KJV-Onlyism

The KJV has errors, so it cannot be the word of God (by your reasoning). What do you not understand?

    The Error of KJV-Onlyism

Modern Bibles don’t “change” words; that’s a reification fallacy. Bible translators choose words.

    Flood Question

The answer is straightforward: the mountains we see today were formed during or after the flood, and the sea floors are deeper now than before. There are several good videos on the subject on YouTube.

    The Error of KJV-Onlyism

"Pure, holy words" might be valid if God had inspired the Bible in English. He didn't. English is a translation, and the decisions made by the KJV translators don't come with the stamp of the Almighty rendering them indelible, despite your treatment of them as such. Like "Thou shalt not kill"...

    The Error of KJV-Onlyism

For 1611, perhaps. Often incorrect for now.
