I applaud you for caring for people in need. May you always be a blessing to others, but make no mistake, you’re saved by grace through faith, not works.

It’s not a problem for me because I’m saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. It’s all about what He did, not what we do.

No, what is truly sickening is self righteous Pharisees thumping their collective chests rather than kneeling humbly, thanking God for His free, irrevocable gift of salvation. We who know we don’t need to perform works to be saved still perform works to glorify God.

I do a hell of a lot more than that, and guess what, it doesn’t mean a thing. My salvation is a free gift from God; saved by grace through faith. WORKS DON’T SAVE US.
