    Women Pastors

Yes, in some roles, but I am not making my case to defend my congregation's practice, as I held these views long before beginning to attend there. Perhaps you should stop attending the Church of the Unwarranted Assumption.

    Women Pastors

Wrong. Simply wrong. The context is about new (female) Christians who came out of gnostic cults. It makes far better sense and doesn't violate Paul's related teaching.

    Women Pastors

    Chapter and verse, please.

    Women Pastors

I've said this before, and will probably say it again: There is NO Biblical restriction (or hint thereof) against women being pastors. If you think there is, then please post the Scripture. Just don't waste your time quoting passages about elders or deacons... because they aren't the same thing.

    The Error of KJV-Onlyism

You are implying that the difference in sources results in "Modern Bibles" teaching false doctrines. That's a non sequitur.

    Women Pastors

It's pretty easy to see that as a prohibition against polygamy, which was far more common than polyandry. That's silly. I have no need to assert that these passages are false doctrine, but I'm comfortable stating that many interpretations of them are false.

Actually, the word "cursed" is used for the serpent and the ground, not the man.

Please quote chapter and verse where this "office" is identified as an "office".

Deacon/servant… it’s the same Greek word.

    Women Pastors

No, it does not. Do your homework and don’t make claims about the content of Scripture that cannot be supported by actual Scripture.

    Predestination is misunderstood...

You asked if you can ask a question. I said you can ask. That’s about as straight an answer as you can get.

    Predestination is misunderstood...

    You can ask.

    One verse

Methinks you answered your own question. No, it’s not good to build a doctrine on only one verse.

    Predestination is misunderstood...

God and the other members of the divine council. Do you understand that God was sharing His plan with the members of the divine council, and not sharing the design process?

    The Error of KJV-Onlyism

That's a gross assumption that has no evidentiary basis, so your comments based on it are also baseless. That's a gross misuse of "inspired". The only "inspired" translations are the ones in the record of Scripture. No "modern" translation (post 70AD) is "inspired". God didn't "breathe" the KJV...

    The Error of KJV-Onlyism

Counting instances of “Jesus” in various translations does nothing to establish which “exalts Jesus more”. The translation doesn’t exalt Jesus; the translator does.

    is unemployment a sin?

Here's why "being unemployed" is NOT a sin: You can't repent your way out of it.

    But… but … but … “983 just isn’t on the same level as 1,000!” ;)
